My labrador loves these. The outside covers are washable. I have hung the covers to dry and they dry fast since microfiber does. I have also hosed down the foam. That takes longer to dry in the shade since most foams don't like direct sunlight. But it works. Eventually she digs a hole in the cover so I flip the foam inside and used the bottom on the top. I got this for our 9yo GSD who has until now always just considered a folded blanket his "bed". He wouldn't lay on anything the slightest bit pillowy or fluffy. I did have to coax him onto it the first time, but right away after that he started going and laying down there on his own, even when we were in another room (he usually just wants to hang with us). I bought two of these for my Rough Collie. He was about 70-75 pounds and very old. I needed something to keep him off the hard floor. He road 1500 miles in the back of my car on his bed and was super comfy the whole way! We had them in the bedroom and in the living room for him. He loved them a lot. We had them for close to 2 years before another dog decided to keep urinating on them. I was able to wash the covers easily but the foam was getting really stained and gross smelling.Raquel C.

In the photo, the bed looks thicker than the real thing. It’s nice and soft and thick enough if we put it on top of her old bed cushion. My 16 year old dog loves this bed! I could tell the difference after the first night he slept on this bed. The next morning he woke up and wasn’t stiff like he was normally with his other dog bed. Although I did not keep the one I ordered, I still think it os a great product. My 8 year old shih tzu is arthritic and needed a better bed. This is a very firm bed. It would best fit a dog above 40 pounds or so. My girl only weighs 20 and it was just too firm fir her. It is well made, good zippers and removeable washable cover. As soon as I unpacked it and placed it on the floor, he jumped right in and pushed the sides with his nose for about 10 minutes m, while scratching at the center, turned his body in three full circles and then laid down and dropped his head over the side and it has been his bed ever since. This dog bed is by far the worst bed I have ever purchased!! The very first thought that came to my mind was “ This manufacturer must think who cares it’s just an animal they will sleep anywhere on anything”! Notice to all animal parents.. If you have an arthritic or elderly fur baby I DO NOT recommend this bed!! I don’t recommend this bed period!!! The stuffing in the bed is hard brick like shredded foam that I had to manually break up by hand so it wasn’t hard lumps n bumps. It wasn’t stuffed with the material in the manufacturer’s discrimination!! So washing the inside fill liner is completely out of the question. The outer cover is soft but thin and so loose around the liner it bunches up and slips around. I am going to add the bolsters from my dogs old bed to see what I can do to make this atrocity better! This is certainly large enough for both of my cats to sleep. It is also very lightweight to move around as needed. Now the part I wish was better. It doesn’t seem to take the weight well and kind of flattens quick. I can’t tell what a medium to large size dog would feel, but I can guess that it would not be very cushiony for them. The fabric quality and construction seem to be fine. Also, the outer cover can be removed for a machine wash. Overall, it is good for small size pets, but not so much for bigger ones.Syra
This Vibrant Life Deluxe Gusseted Pet Bed is perfect for my super long Standard Poodle! It is so big and comfortable for her. The actual dimensions are 32” x 42”. Her legs are really long, so we usually can’t find a bed large enough for her, but this one works! The top is super soft and she loves curling up and laying down. The gusset is quite thick and and the bed is very soft. The bed accommodates pets as large as 90 lbs. She is only about half that so I’m sure it will last her a while. The side panel’s fabric is a really pretty herringbone pattern which I love! I really like that the cover is removable because that is a necessity for us. She likes to dig and play outside, so it will inevitably get dirty and need to be washed. So this is a decent pet bed! I have 3 Dobermans and while it doesn't seem to be their favorite, they all lay on it from time to time. The main issue is that there isn't enough filling in it. I often have to step on it to get around my chair and my foot goes straight to the floor. There is barely any cushion in the middle. There does seem to be a decent amount of the sides so it supports them a little though. I'm thinking of stuffing some memory foam in there to fill it more. One of my girls is 11 and starting to have a hard time jumping up on the furniture, and she seems to be the one who uses it the most, so I'm happy to give her another option for a comfy place to sleep. I appreciate that the cover comes off, and it washes well and is easy to put back on. As someone with allergies, being able to wash items like this is important. It looks nice and matches my living room, so all in all I am pretty happy with it!MissyK17

We've purchased several of these dog beds for the dogs in our extended family and our own dogs as well. They are well made and well priced. They have good, comfortable support and the dogs love them. In the photo, the bed looks thicker than the real thing. It’s nice and soft and thick enough if we put it on top of her old bed cushion. I haven’t tried to wash it yet, but I think it will be difficult to put the cover back onto the foam pad. What really matters most is that our old Basenji, who is 11 years old, loves it. I purchased this very expensive dog bed about two months ago in hopes it would remain comfortable for my dog. At first it was great very plush and appeared comfy, unfortunately it gets flattened very fast. My dog only weighs about 65-70 lbs. My foster pit bull, Blue, is obsessed with his new bed. It arrived yesterday around 5pm and four hours later he was still curled up in it sound asleep. Normally, when I sit down on the couch at the end of the workday, Blue comes catapulting across the room to snuggle with me. Not now! I'm honestly kind of shocked! So I guess my advice is: don't buy this product if you like snuggling with your dog. I ordered a size larger than I thought I needed, just to be safe. Some reviewers said that the "pockets" for other products were too tight, which made me nervous. I can't compare this to other Snoozer beds, but the "pocket" on the rectangle bed is really ample. If I were ordering again, I would go down a size to the medium. Blue is about 45 lbs and 18" tall at his shoulder, and he has enough room to fully stand up inside the large bed's pocket if he wants to. The product is described as being just 8" tall in the large size, but I measured the opening from the top of the bed to the center of the hoop that holds the pocket open at 14-16". Blue loves this bed so much that I'm going to have to buy a second one — one for my bedroom and one for downstairs.Alyssa H
Our dogs love this bed! We got the XL because we have 2 GSPs, one of who is still a puppy. She loves to snuggle in the cave while her brother prefers to sleep on top. Either way there is plenty of room for two! The cover is very washable. The puppy has had almost daily accidents on the cover (sometimes more than once a day) and the cover has gone through the wash quite a few times over the last two weeks. It is holding up nicely. My dogs love the Bowsers Diamond Series Microvelvet Donut Dog Bed (Large). Our intent was to have one dog sleep in this bed, but often our two Boxers both use it at the same time! My dogs now prefer the donut style since they can rest their backs against the bolster or place their heads on top of the bolster. We usually put a blanket in the bed as well so they have it to snuggle with. Bowsers offers so many patterns, which makes it easy to find one to coordinate with your home décor. Bowser makes good quality pet products. We already had one of these and bought a second so both dogs could have their own in the bedroom. The one we've had for a couple of years has held up fairly well, but you can see that the bottom is less cushy than the new bed. The bed is relatively easy to wash. I remove the cushion from the bolster prior to throwing it in the washer. Getting the bolster back in was a little tricky the first couple of times, but you get the hang of it. Have to stuff it as far into the corners as you can, and then start zipping it up, pushing the cushion in as you go.skareht

There needs to be an option for zero star. This did not last a single hour with my dog. And no I do not have a destructive dog, I have a big dog. My 140lbs Great Dane like to turn around in circles (like many dogs) before she lays down. Her nails actually put holes in the “fabric”. But not in the top fabric the bottom “fabric”. The bottom is made out of a paper like material. It reminds me of weed block for the garden. This bed is horrible junk.nicole
