I got one of these beds (36” XL) for my pup who has separation anxiety. When she isn’t sleeping in bed with me, she is snuggled into her faux fur bed. I brought it to my parent’s place when I had a trip and, surprisingly to all of us, my dad’s 10 yr old Anatolian Shepard Mix (who was born in a cave in Afghanistan) fell in love with it. This dog does not like any type of comfort. Beds, toys, treats… she has never shown any interest in anything my dad has given her. When I returned from my trip the first thing I was asked is where I got it. Ever since Bella got her own fur donut bed, she seems to be actually sleeping better and less anxious… about everything. This has to be the best dog bed I have ever purchased. My dog plays toss with it. My baby also hides his toys and bones in it and He sleeps in it. It is super soft and furry. I do not recommend washing no matter ehat the instructions state but spot clean it as needed. I have never seen a pet bed washed that comes out like it went in. I cannot say anything negative about this pet bed except I need more for the cats. This particular size pet bed runs for around $35. The bottom is not very cushy but decent. We have a 55-60 lb dog and the 30×30 is way too big to be comfy but the next size smaller was cramped. I thought the fluffy fabric would be thicker but it is a bit thin for my taste. It does seem to be well constructed though. Do not stick this size in a large home dryer as it is too big and the heat will matte the fluffy strands (almost like melting) from the heat because it cannot move around enough. My dog, little whippet Bertie, adores his cozy cave. It’s high quality, strong and durable feel. The ortho mattress give is a sense of stability/firmness (while also soft) which I think adds to both the comfort and the durability- it I can’t see how it would go lumpy like some dog beds . Above all else it is just unbelievably perfect to little shivery lurcher/ whippet types. My boy loves burrowing in to get cosy for a deep sleep. But also peeping out and keeping an eye on goings on. I received my cozy cave but I received package poorly. The foam was ripped and the cave itself where the plastic piece is was already falling apart. I sent pictures and emailed the company and they responded immediately! They shipped out a new one right away. I received the new one and it was in perfect condition but the foam was different than the original one I received. It is working quite well so far. But if you have a Vizsla you would understand that they get in and hide in things aggressively by digging and burrowing… I’m afraid the sides of the cozy cave are not going to stay sewn together long because the the thread on the edge is weak… otherwise I LOVE IT BUT I know it can’t withstand the pressure on the edges of the opening of the cozy cave. Somehow they need to try and reinforce this better. It is very supportive and my dog loves it however. But I’m not sure if it is worth the price. The bed looks very comfortable. I bought two, and both dogs are happy, although the medium size is just stuffing, not memory foam. I've had the medium for a couple months, and it's already flat, but I added stuffing, and it's okay. I bought the XL for my larger puppy, and the foam is wonderful. But the zippers on both are extremely flimsy. The small one broke within a week, and the XL one broke after the first night, so now I either have to purchase an expensive cover or somehow sew the covers on, which makes it really difficult to remove and wash. All in all, not a very good bargain. If it had a decent zipper, I'd give it 5 stars for comfort, and the outside of the cover is durable, though the inside falls apart in the wash. I wouldn't purchase these again unless I could afford a separate cover for it, so I'm disappointed.Speechless
I ordered two sizes of same bed, both came stitched well and no issues with zippers. Quality in terms of comfort is really bad… not enough stuffing at all and material used for cover will not withstand anything more than gentle use… but stuffing can be added, which I have done and my dogs love their new beds, Though I am not confident in how long they may hold up to everyday use… we'll see. Simply put, the beds are seriously over-priced given material quality and lack of stuffing. Solutions… upgrade materials and amount of filler or bring pricing down to match grade of product. One thing I really appreciated is the stuffing/filler is enclosed like a pillow which makes for easy removal when the covers need washing… a very thoughtful idea, thank you. p.s. Not as nice as I was expecting, but an okay dog bed–the "orthopedic" model really is just an eggshell material and not very thick at all. I think the dimensions are also slightly smaller than advertised–I measured my dogs kennel before hand and was worried the bed would be an inch too large, but it's actually at least 2 inches shorter than the kennel. It’s one of those thin foam egg crates you put over a mattress. Not real, modern memory foam pad. The egg crate doesn’t even fill the Upholstery. I ordered two beds through Petco using Klarna. I received one bed and an order for one bed. Klarna is charging me for two beds, which is what I ordered. After opening it, the bed look more of a large bed than a jumbo & the quilted material isn't even soft. I suppose I expected the jumbo to be bigger, however I believe the arm rest is included in the measurements of length. To be honest, I am not thrilled with the bed at all. Love that the cover is easily removable for washing up. The bed feels like old fashioned surgical foam that was used in hospitals years ago. A few months ago I bought the Jumbo Plus. Installed the sponge in the protective insert and its been waiting. I realized I'd have to be moving it back and forth so just bought a Jumbo for the bedroom. (Jumbo Plus is in the living room). My dogs have finally caught up to me and interesting my Great Pyrenees walks circles on the Jumbo Plus and then plops down in the center. I'm concerned about the Jumbo. I ordered a Medium, and I'm pretty sure I got a Large. It's bigger than the Medium size bed, and since it's for my kitten, I'm really hoping he grows into it! I have this exact same bed in a medium size that I purchased years ago, and the foam in that one is a LOT thicker than the foam in the one I received from Groupon. I'm not sure if that's a change in production/quality by Furhaven products, but I do wish the foam was thicker, especially for such a large bed. Purchased a replacement cover for an existing bed and a new identical bed and neither cover fits this new bed right. Apparently the foam for the new bed is not sized correctly. The cover is too short to properly fit the bed and keeps it curled up on the ends. I purchased a new bed for my Labrador to replace a name-brand quality bed. This Furhaven bed is quite cheaply made and has no substance. I got this for my elderly Rough Collie. He was about 70-75 pounds. He really loved the little side pillows. For whatever reason he really liked to have his neck in really weird positions and this was great for him. I got the orthopedic foam but looking back on it I would have gone for the memory foam. This can hold a lot more weight and to be honest I have a memory foam mattress myself so why not get them the same lol. The cover was easy to take off and wash. I have purchased this same bed on Overstock where the package came in a box. This one came squished and squeezed in a flimsy bag where the bed lost its shape. In addition, the quality of the bed was very cheap compared to the one on Overstock. It's too much trouble to return but in the future, I will purchase it from Overstock knowing that the quality is much better there. This bed is a lot flimsier with less material and doesn't hold it's shape.

This is a super soft dog bed that seems well make. The reason I did not give it 5 stars is due to the sizing. We have two smaller dogs (9 lbs. and 14 lbs.) and I thought a large would hold both.
