I bought two of these for my Rough Collie. He was about 70-75 pounds and very old. I needed something to keep him off the hard floor. He road 1500 miles in the back of my car on his bed and was super comfy the whole way! We had them in the bedroom and in the living room for him. He loved them a lot. We had them for close to 2 years before another dog decided to keep urinating on them. I was able to wash the covers easily but the foam was getting really stained and gross smelling.Raquel C.
So far this bed seems great. My favorite part is that it didn't have any foam odor when it arrived! I have two dogs, a mini-Aussie in this size range and a border collie slightly larger than this range. Both use the bed happily (never together). The fabric isn’t showing any signs of wear. I ordered a Medium, and I'm pretty sure I got a Large. It's bigger than the Medium size bed, and since it's for my kitten, I'm really hoping he grows into it! I have this exact same bed in a medium size that I purchased years ago, and the foam in that one is a LOT thicker than the foam in the one I received from Groupon. I'm not sure if that's a change in production/quality by Furhaven products, but I do wish the foam was thicker, especially for such a large bed. My two dogs, who are very particular about laying on blankets and pillows, both gravitated to this bed as soon as I put it out for them. These are great beds. They were a little bigger than I expected, as I was looking to put them inside their cage and they don't fit, but they are great quality. These beds are super soft, hold up well to washing so far, and nice and light weight without losing their cushion.My only disappointment was I had hopped the sides would be a little firmer when both bolsters are up to make the bed deeper, but unless they're supported by crate walls, they tend to sag out. I specifically purchased them on the hopes that I could use them for newborn chihuahua litters, but the edges are week enough the babies can wiggle out, but then can't get back in. They certainly didn't advertise that they were more rigid, I was just hoping lol! I don't know whether my dogs prefer these to other beds/crate liners, but I do. I bought two of the white fleece as crate liners. The first thing I like is that the side are higher so that my dogs are not leaning up against the sides of the crate – they are cushioned. I also like that they have straps on the bottom to help them stay stationary in the crate.One of my dogs often vomits or has diarrhea, and I am able to toss these in the washer with no problem. I bought these over one year ago, and have washed them many times. I run them through the white cycle with bleach, and they hold up well. I received this bed less than a month ago. It really looked beautiful when I first unpacked it and my puppy looooved it. It didn't take long however for him to shred the fuzzy part, which went all over the place. Everywhere I looked, I'd find bits of it. Then I washed it and I can see that a hole or 2 are going to appear very soon as the material thinned considerably. The suede bumper on the other hand is really solid (unlike the fuzzy part). My 13 year old, 60-pound shepherd-collie mix has never been willing or interested in sleeping in a dog bed in her life. My Lab loves this bed! It's her second. The first one lasted several years. I was happy that I could find it again. She weighs 80 lbs and the medium size is perfect for her. It would best fit a dog above 40 pounds or so. My girl only weighs 20 and it was just too firm fir her. It is well made, good zippers and removeable washable cover. I have old dogs (15, 16 & 16). They are set in their ways, and I have purchased many, many (many!) failed dog beds that looked heavenly to me but like a pile of nails to my dogs. Not so this bed–they LOVE IT. The cover comes off easily, goes back on easily, and it washes up well. The photo and description seemed to be exactly what I was looking for for our 10 yr old dobie and the price was OK but I am very disappointed with this bed. The bed itself is flimsy and not the quality I was expecting. The foam is not 3 inches deep it is approximately 2 – 2 1/4 inches and does not feel or look like medical grade orthopedic foam – it is not dense/heavy. The bolstered sides seem to be OK except, again, not dense. As far as high grade soft velvet and super soft micro fleece, it is soft but certainly not high grade. My dog loves his new dog bed. He was so excited to walk and lay on it. I really loved the thickness of the mattress because I knew that it was truly providing my dog a comfortable bed to sleep. This bed is soft and my dog seems to find it comfortable. It’s a good neutral color that blends nicely into my living room. The downside is that the cover cannot be removed for washing, but for the price, I guess I can vacuum the fur off and spot clean to make it last long enough. They advise this as a good size for large breed dogs, including Golden Retrievers (this is specifically listed on the packaging). My Golden is small for her breed – she was the runt of her litter – and this bed is just barely big enough for her (see pic). If you have a large Golden or other 60 lb breed, this “large size” bed may not accommodate them.CBTX
Got this bed a substitute in a pick up order. I allowed the substitute bc the reviews were good. I will be returning it now that I’ve seen it. The bumper edges are great and filled with a thick lining so they feel comfortable for a large dog. The actual bed part is very thin and my 60lb dog will basically be on the floor. I have bought dog beds that support her weight, but this one will not. Waste of money. Will return for a refund.A

Love this dog bed. I have a 80lb lab and I bought the large. I thought that it looked small but I put it together it was fine. My lab loves it. The mesh bottom attracted me to this bed because he swims and lays down on his bed soaking wet. It dries quick and it’s easy to wash.Kristin
I am so glad that we got to try this cot out! I have two dogs, a Jack Russell and a chow chow. My dogs did not want anything to do with this dog bed the first day and a half. But then we got the idea to put a fuzzy blanket on it and now both my dogs love it! I can’t blame them for wanting a blanket though, because it is winter in Minnesota currently! My plan for the summer is to put this dog bed outside so I am very excited about that! I think this will be my dogs new favorite spot to lay and look outside. I feel like I needed to only give 4 stars because I needed to add a blanket before my dogs were interested in it, but I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a new dog bed/cot!
My dog loves this cot and I think it’s pretty great too, especially since she loves it. The only change I would recommend to the company though is for the stuffing in the bolster to be bagged so that the bolster cover could easily be washed. My dog loves her bolster, but when she gets drool on it, it’d be nice if the stuffing was self-contained inside to be pulled out easily for the cover to be washed quickly as it says it’s machine washable.Jerseygalrocker

We've had it for a couple of months, and my Anatolian Shepherd (about 70 pounds) loves it. Some of the other reviews mention it not having a zipper, but mine has one to remove the center padding and a separate one to remove the outside ring's padding. It hasn't flattened down much at all, so it's still pretty comfy to lay on with her. It feels super high quality. I've washed it about once every two weeks, and there doesn't appear to be any wear from the washing machine and dryer like our other dog bed.Lydia

Absolutely the most fantastic doggy bed for my little 6 pound Yorkie. Purchased the small which is actually larger than I thought, but is the perfect size allowing for him to lay stretched out if he likes vs. having to be curled up all the time like is the case with some other small bolster donut beds. The fur length & super soft, silky feel, the depth of the bed, the little “snuggle pockets” he can nuzzle under – all the way around, this bed checks all the boxes. Added bonus? The Fur Haven pet bed is better than I imagined. The cover is not the natty fleece that traps pet hair most similar beds are constructed of. The Fur Haven bed has a soft silky feel covering, is stuffed just soft enough and surprisingly lightweight, but NOT flimsy. I’m confident this will wash up nicely when the time comes. The price point is reasonable. I have owned dogs for decades – tried every pet bed possible (except the $200 plus beds). I mistakenly purchased 2. But actually glad I did. The bed fits my 10 lb Papillon perfectly. I’ll watch for a sale and purchase a large and medium for the rest of the pack. Happy hound.Bonnie
The bed is super soft and comfortable. Sometimes I find myself laying in it. My dog loves to rest and sleep in it. I now have two… one for the bedroom and one for the living room. I love that you can remove the cover and wash it as well. The customer service by FurHaven is amazing as well! The filling in one of the beds became flat, and another that I'd ordered had a hole in it, that they ended up sending me an entire new bed for free!
