They told me he had old man nose and to try to keep putting vitamin E cream on it. I tried that and there was no change and I was so discouraged because I couldn't help him. So I have a beabull, mostly English bulldog. He’s a 7/8 mix. Out of nowhere his cute little black nose started getting crusty and cracked. I waited a while and it didn’t let up. A friend said there was nothing you could do but I found this online. I didn’t think it would work but we are on day four and his nose is DRASTICALLY improved. He hates when I put it on (he does that with everything ever though) so I have to put some peanut butter on a spoon and have him lick it after I apply it to his nose or he’ll just lick it right off his nose. I bought this for my dog’s (14 year old Shar Pei) keratin buildup on his nose and paws. It dissolved the stuff great and I was able to wipe off the stuff on his paws after one application. That was really impressive. My dog has fairly mild Hyperkeratosis but his nose gets a fairly thick layer of buildup, and this product allows you to remove it fairly easily after a few applications over a couple days and a cooperative pooch. I was really impressed with how well it worked. I use it now preventatively which prevents bad buildup on his nose and paws, so all in all I’m certainly a big fan. I recommend at least the 2oz can if you think you’ll use it on the paws. The 2 oz can generally lasts me a couple months even with multiple applications per day. My son is a huge fan of this toy. Its a really cute take on your classic balloon animal dog. Batteries are pretty simple to install, though you do need a screwdriver. It comes with a couple fun accessories to make the dog do things like inflate, deflate (just sounds and the ways it moves, does not actually change shape) and other noises. Two of my rescue dogs have had a hard crust across the end of their nose since I adopted them. I feed them high quality dog food, and have made many changes due to serious allergies of one of my dogs. I purchased a different snout product, and one of my dogs had a reaction to it. I was very hesitant to try another product, but, after reading all of the reviews of Snout Magic, and seeing the list of ingredients, I decided to order it. this would probably work fine on bigger dogs but on my little Papillon it's just torture because the rings don't hold any adjustments for her tiny snout so the front strap just rubs her eyes and makes her baulk. I think for small dogs they could make the snout loop with fixed adjustments so the size would hold and it would then work more like intended but as is it doesn't work without pull on the leash which you don't always havebill

So I have a beabull, mostly English bulldog. He’s a 7/8 mix. Out of nowhere his cute little black nose started getting crusty and cracked. I waited a while and it didn’t let up. A friend said there was nothing you could do but I found this online. I didn’t think it would work but we are on day four and his nose is DRASTICALLY improved. He hates when I put it on (he does that with everything ever though) so I have to put some peanut butter on a spoon and have him lick it after I apply it to his nose or he’ll just lick it right off his nose. After being unable to go out due to dragging, bleeding back paws bought some boots then the swaying about crossed leg and bouncing like a kangaroo was so bad we decided to go for it! She is a very awkward German Shepherd who’s never liked being brushed at the back end let alone having boots fitted so didn’t expect her to take to this ‘machine’ easily! How wrong we were!! The worst part for her was setting the adjustment up as she can’t stand up for long but we got there, it was almost as though she knew we were trying to help, we took her out for very short walks to make sure it was well adjusted but from the very first walk she loved it and was off…no looking back. My dog decided to backup several times on her walk today. The walker wheels forced her backwards until she had almost fallen over and the rear frame hit the ground. Her back leg was cut in a couple of places because the rear frame pressed against her legs when she fell backwards and put all her weight on the frame. When I tried to remove the brackets on the back of the walker, the screws were so tight and the Phillips head screws were partly stripped from whoever installed them. Had to use an impact driver which was barely able to remove the screws so the brackets wouldn't cut her legs if she falls backwards again. Either that or one of the side frames would have had to be replaced. There is no reason such small screws should ever be so over tightened. Fortunately, I was able to remove the dangerous brackets. We need a foam rubber tube over the back of the frame to reduce leg injuries on the sharp frame edges or else a brace added to prevent the walker from tipping backwards. There is no way a dog can get up when the walker tips backwards. She might have broken a leg because of this design flaw. I ended up adjusting the wheels backwards more but who knows if that will prevent her from falling backwards. It might just make the situation worse if she tips over on the back frame again. This is a nice product with a few frustrating issues. The push pin they use is the first item. I love the fact they made parts adjustable. It is terrible though that the push pin design is so flimsy and it turns inside the tube 95% of the time you are trying to make an adjustment. Not easy on the dog you are trying to adjust to or your back. Having to pull the whole thing apart to adjust the pin back in place is irritating. Next, the straps in the back (to secure up the belly at the legs) didn't seem the same quality as the harness. The straps in the back are thinner and already have snags. This happened day 2. Overall I'm glad I bought it, but I struggle to believe it is worth the price.Georgia
