I have a tiny yard, so I needed a sturdy but shorter tie out for my pup. The 15 foot length is perfect for my needs, and is constructed of heavy gauge coated wire, with sturdy snap hooks. I'll probably add carabiners to the ends, as these don't tend to freeze up over the snowy winter months.Mary

I recently discarded an old dog tie-out cable & have been looking for a replacement. After comparison shopping, this tie-out is a good quality with an excellent price…….significantly cheaper than other stores. I especially like the red cable coating — the previous cable I had was grey & it blended into my grey deck; I tripped over the cable just last month. It's also easy to see if the tie-out is in the grass while I am mowing the lawn.Mary

My friend was very happy with this product. Even her dog liked it. Since she lives close to a street with traffic, she wanted the shorter length. A 15' tie out was impossible for her to find locally where she lives. I live about 40 miles away from her, and Harbor Freight was the only local store in my town that carried it. This tie out is a great, well made product and the price is very competitive with online sources.Linda

Great sturdy carrier,bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside. Sturdily made plastic. I use it to carry for my 9 lbs cat and it can support his weight very well ,even though it could have had a luggage style handle for more comfort holding it than the recessed one it has but no biggie. Also even thought it is sturdy and pieces fit well together I would recommend you tie up some zipper cable ties on key areas where the two halves meet and close to where the gray little pieces go, to avoid the unions popping open and falling apart,just in case it stresses from the weight of the pet, that should give more reinforcement to the structure and peace of mind, not that it will happen but it could as other customers have stated. The carrier is not really that tall and long so my cat cannot stand full height or stretch full length, it is comfortable enough for him to be in on short trips or for a shorter cat (mine is very long and tall,almost 19 inches long head to base of tail).. The door is a little tricky to use since it doesn't have a hinge but you will get the hang of it, and if you just open it from one of the top knobs and leave the other closed it can even be used as a swinging door. It doesn't include any accessories but it is standard fit for most accessories.. Very goodvalue for the money.ladyleiaknight

This carrier is very lightweight and efficient. It does come disassembled, and at first I was upset until I put it together and realized how easy it was. The cage door is so easy to take off for better access to your animal when necessary. I definitely recommend this carrier for the quality and price.Tori99

Used 3 times very minimal use and the locking clasp that holds the top and bottom sections of the carrier on the front sides is already broken. This basically renders the carrier useless as the top part comes up and detached from the bottom when holding it by the top handle. Very very cheap plastic materials. My cats are under 10 lbs that I am transporting. Wouldn’t recommend.Alleyymarie

What a pleasant experience. This is such a sturdy crate. I have Serama Chickens that are indoor pets and this was just a great buy for a very reasonable price. Although I do not have a dog, there is no doubt in my mind that this cage would be perfect for a small dog.Lori

I purchased two of these "KennelMaster 24" Folding Black Wire 2 Door Dog Crate" and have had them for several months. What a great buy! Super easy to set up: they come preassembled and all folded up. They unfold and set up in a minute. I have one for each of my dogs: a Maltese/Bichon mix and a Chihuahua mix (who looks just like a small German Shepherd). We use their crates for the night time and when we leave the house. These crates are made of very nice thick metal. Incredibly sturdy. The latches are well made and smart-doggy proof. I like that the bottom is solid and can be easily removed and sanitized. My dogs have scratched and nibbled on the bars daily and the crates have held up like new. There are two doors on each crate: one door on a long side and one door on a short side. There's also a handle on top which makes it really easy to move around when I am relocating it, transporting the dogs, or just moving the crates to vacuum and clean underneath. My crates also came with some additional wire dividers that I don't use. I believe they are for making the crate smaller when you have a puppy and removing it as your dog grows. Crates can be really expensive so I was glad to find these at such a bargain price, especially because they are so well made. I know these crates will last many, many years. I have no negative things to say about these dog crates. I would highly recommend them! Please note: I do not put both dogs in the same crate, though they do both fit. This kennel looks great in your home. It’s much more decorative than a traditional crate. And for the price of why not? Well that’s easy. It’s not as functional as a traditional kennel. I read reviews before buying this, and a lot of those reviews stated that their dogs tore this kennel apart. But I thought my dog shouldn’t have a problem with that because she is crate trained. As a matter of fact she went into her old kennel willingly without anyone asking all of the time. It was her safe space I think. Never tried to break out. But the thing with this kennel is the material that it is made out of is weak and if you’re a pitbull, very soft. My dog chewed the bars out with ease and the fake wood was like bubblegum to her. I love this kennel because of the way it looks in my room but for how strong it is NOT, it is incredibly over priced.BrianaL02

I love the small "escape proof" crate! Its a gem! The price is great especially with free shipping! my chihuahua figured out how to escape from her other crate and caused a huge ruckus in the apt complex. I cant say just how much this crate means alot to me and the neighbors (elderly). My longhair, chihuahua absolutly LOVES it!! Thank you even more for a quick delivery from Fed Ex. Wondering if we were sold a used unit. Missing 3 of the 4 rubber feet the one was already attached. Video shows they shoukd be in a bag and how to install. All 4 corner top supports were there 2 were in plastic bag that was ripped open previously and other 2 were in bottom of crate. Looks like part of the paint was worn off on the corners were the supports go. One of the sliding doors squeals as you slide it closed. Couldn't return it as we sold our previous crate already. Tried to call the manufacturer as it states do not call store have not heard back after 5 messages to them.Brad63126

The packaging of this item was very good. There is a plastic tray in the bottom of the cage, but it is well protected in the box. I took out the crate and it was all one piece, except for the divider. I laid it on the floor and unlatched the obvious clips that were holding the crate in a flat position. There are instructions that come with this crate, but it was so easy to figure out how to fasten the sides, I did not need them. I did review the instructions after and they are very easy to follow and understand. The crate wiring is very sturdy. I have a 45 lb Springer Spaniel and he has no chance of bending the wiring. The latches will not shake open. They fold over and my dog would have to be a magician to open them. There are two entry points. On large area on the lengthy side. And a slider set of doors on the wide side. Both sides have the same type of latches. The tray is very sturdy plastic and can be cleaned very easily. The crate comes with a divider. It is made of the same wiring material. Very sturdy. I only have one dog, so I won't be using it. But it is easy to install. The weight of the crate is not too bad. It comes with a handle on top, but the width of the crate is a bit large to be carrying around far. It is mainly used for repositioning. You won't pick up the crate with your pet inside. But it makes it easy for lifting into my van without my dog inside. I cannot think of any really bad things about this crate. It is a very quality item. Very easy to use. Very easy to fold and stow away when not in use. All in one piece. To get my dog used to using it, I put some treats in the crate. He went right in and was checking it out. Springers love to be in a cave, so I put a blanket over the top and he enjoys his privacy 🙂Charlie

I really like my Lucky Dog Sliding Door Dog Crate. I am disabled so I thought I would have to have someone help me assemble it. But the hardest thing about putting it together was getting it out of the box. Once it was out, it literally took me less than a minute and that was without instructions. It was so easy to see what needed to be done: lift one wall, lift the ceiling and the other wall falls into place. One end has a door with three lift and slide type handles. You can use one, two, or all three. And the front has the sliding door which is nice for a larger animal or for putting the bed in, etc. There is a heavy duty plastic bottom so you don’t have to worry about puppy accidents. There are also plastic sleeves to go on four corners on the bottom to keep it from being fully in contact with the floor, so there’s air flow underneath. This would also protect the floor in the case of the crate moving during use. They also included four corner protectors so that you don’t bang into a sharp edge and injure yourself or damage something. Good thinking. And a really nice feature is the wire wall that locks into place if desired, making the crate a haven for 2 animals or a smaller space for a smaller dog- for instance a puppy that would be overwhelmed by such a large crate now but would need every inch of it later. No need to buy 2 crates- just insert the divider wall now and remove it when the dog has grown enough to use the space. And if I don’t need to use the crate or I need to store it, it folds flat just as it came. Brilliant! I’m sold on this crate! Only downfall is my dog is exposed to whatever is going on around him so I would have preferred to have had this to begin with. On the surface this is a great product – good size, light, folds down to nothing. But it failed the dog test. I put my 5 yr old Cocker Spaniel in it, inside my RV, to test it out. He was fine while I was in the RV. But then I stepped out momentarily. As I was closing the door I saw that he was rolling the kennel. There's nothing to keep it upright. I let him go – he was till contained and the unit is about the same on each side, so I figure rolling wouldn't be an issue. But a minute later when I came back (seriously, on the order of one minute or less), he was out of the cage, on the table, eating my breakfast. I had zipped both zippers to the bottom of the screen. But after rotating it the zippers were at eye level, and he scratched at them to separate them, got an opening, and worked the hole open enough (I'm guessing) to get his nose in and open the zipper enough to escape. This dog is not known as an escape artist either. I am going to have to zip-tie the zippers together to keep him contained. Not my ideal solution.DrNuke

So, from the moment this crate popped open and smacked me in the face i knew this was going to be a rocky ride. My puppy rolled around my living room in this thing like a hamster in a hamster wheel. For HOURS! IT IS NOT STURDY!! Any time she moved it would fall and collapse. On top of it being bad for containment, it holds pet odors like no ones business. My house smelled horrible the whole week i attempted to use this thing. My dog ripped it as well. Not suitable for crate training or puppies at all period. If your dog is potty trained, very mild tempered and crate trained it just might work for you But it not, save your money.Mauri

I was looking at these on Amazon and luckily I seen this one at the store tonight because it saved me some money. It’s perfect for our puppy and works great in the RV because it’s so easy to store when not in use. Now if you are buying to use on a large breed puppy, like a boxer and turn your back for a millisecond and expect it to still be sitting there as you left it, maybe you shouldn’t get a dog. Because this is meant for little dog puppy breeds like chihuahua or older dogs who have reached maturity and enjoy good naps. Even if you have a older dog but it’s skiddish about things I wouldn’t recommend because the moment it lays down and the side moves it’ll probably freak and then it’s over. But for puppy that weighs a pound it’s perfect. Her little bed fits in there and she can see everything that’s going on. I would never leave the room with her awake in it just in case. But she knows it’s nap time when she gets in it so I don’t have any problems getting things done around the house and don’t have to worry about her getting underfoot or into mischief. If I get a month out of it which I’m sure I will but I’ll have gotten my money’s worth out of it. For the price you can’t expect it to last 10yrs like your hard plastic or metal one did but I’ll be beyond ecstatic if it does last that long. Anything changes I’ll update this review. Again don’t recommend for hyperactive breeds or large breed puppies but tiny ones and mature dogs yes highly recommend! Just takes common sense.Whoopiwho

I use this for my miniature dachshund that I have to keep on a leash because she is not potty-trained and she will immediately get into something bad for her. She will obsessively pull and bite at a leash in order to break it and it made them unreliable to keep her on while we were gone. I also move her leash around so that she can be with me while I work. This leash is a great length, lightweight, really sturdy, and won't get tangled up. It is a great alternative to a chain because it does not hit the floor obnoxiously, it's cheaper and very easy to clean. Although it will probably get messed up and have some wire sticking out I do not mind buying another one for this price.Katelynn

He's learned the limits of the line, so he doesn't choke himself at the edge of the perimeter anymore. If you have a med/large dog that won’t stop going from one window to the other while out on car rides, this would be perfect for you. The material is strong and durable to withstand pits, huskies, Danes, or shepherds. The hooks that hold the zip line to the headrests don’t slip or budge, and they hold like E-6000. This is an awesome product to help keep your dog safe. My dog is always going to the front and back in the car and just getting in the way. Since I put the zipline in, it keeps my dog more contained and less likely to get hurt when braking to hard or turning. This also helps keep her from jumping out automatically when the door opens. When I took it back to the store, I asked about a discount and received 15% off (the tax). I had previously bought one that was marked down by 50% because the box was damaged. I was quite disappointed in the whole experience. Apparently the merchandise was supposed to be checked if the box was damaged and that wasn’t done in this case.Janice

I use them when I travel with my dogs too. My dogs only use their crates for sleeping in at night or napping in during the day. During the day, their crate doors are left open. I close the dogs in at night. I don't have an issue with my dogs trying to escape from their crates, so I can't speak to whether or not this would be sturdy enough for a dog that's determined to get out of their crate. These crates are more than sturdy enough for my miniature Schnauzer, Havanese, and Wirehaired Pointing Griffon. All three of my dogs love their MidWest iCrates, as did my previous dog! They go in them voluntarily and when told to "crate up". My only concern with the current crate I ordered is that that one of the latches isn't lined up quite right so it's a bit tight when closing the crate door. I bent it slightly and it works much better. I haven't had that issue with any of the previous MidWest crates I've used. I'm a MidWest crate fan.Eddie09

He was a Parvo pup and barely survived, so rest and his own quiet space was highly recommended for recovery. We first used the divider which was great. However, as he grew, so did his strength. It definitely is not strong enough for large dogs. Even for short amounts of time. At the moment he is 6 months and 60 pounds. Thankfully he did not get out nor hurt himself! I wish I could share photos of how bent up this crate is and the cracked floor liner. IWifeMomLove

I use this for my pup who has had 1 surgery and will still need another. Having the top to go over it is nice because it confined her to a space so she’s not standing up excessively.Laura

I've used this tie out for my pointer labradore and it hasn't failed us once. She can literally pull my arm off. I've used it while camping in a field and by the lake were it was rocky ground and it still did the jobD3ZZA

I just received the bag today and I was so excited to open it. It did not disappoint. It is small enough to use as a carry-on but big enough to hold dog food, treats, toys, blankets, and probably more. The wheels worked great to move the bag around easily. Instructions were good but brief, missing some smaller details on placement of blocks, also short you about 6 pieces of wood that need to be cut making the process a little confusing. Also had to bend the tabs for the front door to fit on the wood frame since they were bent inward. We got this tote which is airline standard to allow us to bring our pup on a flight with us. It’s very sturdy and it’s great it has 2 zipper options. We bought the medium sized, not the large but for some reason it wouldn’t show up for reviewing. My dog loves this, because he knows whenever it makes an appearance it means he’s going with us somewhere. A little pricey but we have owned it for years now and it’s held up great.lauren.f

I love this bag although I don't think my dog feels the same way. I just wish I had gotten a smaller size. My dog is only 8 pounds and I got the medium thinking it would give him more room and be more comfortable for him but it is too big. I still use it anyway though. The convenience of the carrier is that you can install caster wheels and it has the handles to pull around the carrier; two excellent features for mobility. Eazy to put together, however the locking tabs that hold the top and bottom together is not to secure enough; I purchased and secured with screws and bolts for peace of mind. I purchased for airplane travel in cargo and pray that it meets the airline requirements.Mini

Received with severe cracks on both side vents. Asked for replacement. 2nd crate was cracked in exactly the same spots. It was not a packaging problem. The boxes were not damaged in any way. I can see the plastic vents are vulnerable to pressure. I decided on another brand with metal venting. Needed three of these to fit my small hatchback. Only cage that would fit both my vehicle and largest dog. Rather tricky to assemble. I inhanced the safety by using zip ties to help hold the top and bottom together. Would have liked the option of opening the door from either side. Great product but my 10 pound dog has a bit of trouble moving around the full length because of the weight of the cord. Would be wonderful if they made one for dogs 15 or 20 pounds and under that was still 40 ft. I would buy that in a second.victoriowen-7

It states this is a large dog "up to 100 pounds" dog tie out. The cable is thin and the books are small. I use these for my 100 pounds lab. The cable I received is on I feel safe using for my pug. I would never trust this cable for a large dog!linda
