For starters: I purchased the LifeGold, Old Friend, DetoxGold, and Spark. My little girl is 13 years young. About a month ago my baby girl Littles was told she had to be taken home and put on “Hospice”. My cat is only 2 and a half and he has been suffering from urinary tract infections/crystals for the past year, which is not as common for male cats. My little Gigi, a Maltese/Silky Terrier mix, turned 13 a couple of months ago. Two weeks ago she suddenly stopped eating and was losing weight rapidly. She was also having trouble swallowing. We went to the vet – bloodwork showed normal except for very elevated white blood cells indicating an infection. The vet also found what felt like a tumor on her thyroid. She was given a shot of antibiotics and sub q fluids, but I was told it was the beginning of the end. I chose not to have the tumor aspirated to find cancer cells as I didn't want to increase her stress. I made the decision that I would not put her through surgeries or heavy treatments at her age; my intention was to try to give her the best quality of life possible and let her go when she was ready. I took Gigi home and started researching. I found Life Gold and read all the reviews, then ordered it with my fingers crossed that what I was reading was authentic. I also got Turkey Tail and Agaricus Blazie mushrooms, both known for their cancer-fighting properties. I purchased them separately, as the "kit" that includes a mushroom mix was too expensive for me at the time, but I will likely purchase it later. I started her on everything within two days of her diagnosis. The first few days I was able to get more food into her – she gained a little weight, but was pretty zonked from the powerful antibiotics. She continued to be a very picky eater – I put eight Live Gold drops on bread, then wrapped the bread in thinly sliced rare beef and was able to get her to take it 2x a day, along with the mushrooms in capsule form. She slowly improved over seven days or so, sleeping a lot, but I was still having to work hard to coax her to eat – roasted chicken with skin and sliced beef were all she would do, but even so, over time she improved by about 80%. She was gaining ground, but we were still struggling with food, so I took her back to the vet today for more sub q fluids. We found that she had gained 5 ounces despite eating issues. Tonight she began to eat her chicken-wrapped supplements more enthusiastically. I'm also finding it harder to locate the lump on her thyroid. When she is ready she will return to her regular diet of freeze-dried raw food combined with home-made organic turkey and veggies – my dogs also get sardines packed in unsalted water, soft-boiled eggs a couple of times a week, and other non-processed treats like raw carrot (read The Forever Dog – it's on Amazon). Gigi seems to feel better every day and is returning to her old self, but I know that each day is a gift and that things could change quickly at her age. For now she's happy and engaged, barking at squirrels, interested in the world, wagging her tail, alert, and loving, and I'm grateful.

Our lab was taking shots at the vet monthly for joint pain that started around 13 years old, eventually they also prescribed pain pills to take as needed. She no longer needs the shots. Our vet suggested this product after her shots were not as effective, she was slow getting around. While this product is a bit expensive, as everything else is that my vet wants me to put my dog on, the product does help a lot. I can tell a difference between now and before my 11year old dachshund started this product. He is also taking Phycox with it for his joints. He was taking Phycox first, but it didn't help enough…maybe because of his age and problems worsening with age. He is walking better and sometimes runs around playing. He had a hard time going up and down steps outside to go potty. My vet wanted me to keep him from going up and down steps or jumping up or down on furniture. Dachshunds shouldn't be doing this anyways because of their predisposition to back and joint issues. I still try to keep him from going up or down steps, even though he is doing better. But, since taking this product, he doesn't always wait for me at bottom of steps to pick him up, as he used to do when in more pain. I just ensure I keep watch to try and catch him before he gets to the steps. So, I know it is helping. He doesn't limp nearly as much now. He only limps a little here and there. He was limping almost all the time before the Movoflex. I'd also like to mention that prices on eBay have already started going up since my dog started taking this product about 6 months ago. I should also add that, per my vet's recommendation, when purchasing things like this on eBay, you should always call the company that makes the product to confirm the lot# and expiration date on container, so you will know for sure it is real product, and can have eBay make them return your money if it isn't. I started using this product afte my 7 year old dog was diagnosed with a Thyroid issue. Two of my dogs tested severely hypothyroid. The first was only 2.5 years old, a neutered male deaf boxer. This was found after numerous issues that almost became fatal when he experienced anaphylactic shock last Dec. I finally found a holistic/traditional vet to figure out the root issue for him. I would have never guessed he was hypothyroid!?! He was friendly, hyper, full coat, great weight, you name it. Ultimately though he got way softer fur and decreased or eliminated allergy symptoms (paw licking, scratching, puking, etc.) after starting this supplement. My 12 year old spayed female plott hound was recently diagnosed hypothyroid as well. She had more classic thyroid symptoms (weight gain, less energy, etc.) but still had a soft full coat of fur. As an added bonus of these and other natural food and supplement changes, she is less aggressive and less reactive than she has ever been before! She used to bark at her butt daily likely due to incontinence urine burn, and that stopped too (the barking and the leaking)! She also quit her daily head shaking (likely ear allergies). I have been waiting for several months to write a review on this supplement to make sure that the results I was seeing were not just a coincidence. My 4 year old wheaten terrier was showing some signs of a thyroid condition (sensitivity to sounds, bouts of being scared/depressed, lethargy, random signs of aggressive behavior with guests, stiff/sore back legs, bit of weight gain) & we had him tested (complete thyroid panel). My Labrador had stitches in her front leg right on the ankle joint so it was at high risk of infection as very close to the bone. I was hoping this would negate the need for the huge buster collar however, she would still lick at it through the sleeve and make it wet therefore increasing the risk of infection to the wound. She therefore still had to wear the buster collar as well as the sleeve to stop her licking it. Within a couple of days, there was a hole in the material of the sleeve and since then, a further tear has developed, so the quality of the material is not that good. She has also worked out how to get her leg out of it so all in all, it hasn’t been that great! That said, I would still recommend using one as it was better than not having the wound covered at all but for me, it didn’t negate the need for a buster collar unfortunately.Julieann
1 Very happy owner and one calm snoring Dog. He`s been at the top of his leg the last few days and licked it raw . No socks long enough and a long sleeved T shirt was not a success . Apoquel has done wonders for my German Shepherd who recently developed seasonal allergies at six years old. He was scratching and biting at himself 24/7 and he caused an infection on his foot from the constant licking. I am a vet assistant, and I see all kinds of animals coming in with different skin conditions or allergies and always felt so bad for them and their owners….. then I got a dog with allergies and then I found out what it's really like…. it is devastating watching your dog itch and scratch to the point of pulling their hair out, then when the hair is gone… then there goes their skin…. they will make themselves bleed and still won't stop. I tried benadryl I tried EVERYTHING, had to even do skin antibiotics and steroid Injections and still he was itching…. so… the dr tried him on this….. now… first thing I will say is this medication isn't cheap especially for bigger dogs (if you have a 10lbs dog it's not going to be too bad) but my poor dog had to start off taking 2 16mg 2 times a day and it was roughly 300 for the first month, however from there you taper down and after a few months I got him down to half a tablet once daily…. anyway…. this medication worked like a dream for him. He hasn't had any issues for over a year now and although sometimes he scratches its more of a normal itch. This medication literally saved him and my sanity. The only reason I am not giving this heartworm an EXCELLENT rat8ng is because I have to admit my fur girl has never had HW’s before and she hates the taste of your product. It is a knock down drag out fight to give it to her and if I put it in her food, she won’t eat the food and then looks at me as if to say “ what the heck? Nice try mom”! 😂. I am happy to have it on hand though just in case and you were very helpful on what symptoms to watch for if she gets them. I have two frenchies, and I'm all for avoiding toxic chemicals as much as possible. especially when it comes to heartworm meds. Which the vets try to fear-monger you into getting. I've been to 3 different vets and all say the same thing. (New York and Texas). To start: I NEVER gave my boys heartworm meds that they tell you to take. I found HWF when I first got my frenchie and I made a commitment to keep him as healthy as possible. Starting with HWF. Now living in both New York and Texas (especially Houston), Mosquitos are no joke. My annual vet visits consist of the vets telling me I HAVE to give them their prescription meds to my babies or else they will get heartworm. And each time I go, I tell them what I give them, and they immediately judge and tell me that's wrong and it doesn't work. And then I always respond with: do the heartworm blood test and tell me then. I've had them take their blood two years in a row. BOTH TIMES WERE NEGATIVE. Which the doctor and nurse roll their eyes, and proceed to say that it's not 100% accurate (the test). I just laugh. And the only reason I take my boys to the vet is for their rabies vaccine (which I wish wasn't mandatory). Mind you, these vets also try to sell their food (purina) after they find out I feed my boys raw which they, of course, disapprove of. Vets these days just want to make money and make your dog sick. I'm so grateful for HWF and have been using it for 2 years straight now! LOVE IT. ALSO to end my vet rant: whenever I leave their office, at the end of our visit, they say "by the way these are the healthiest frenchies we've ever seen" .. UM YAH….. LOL.Beatrice
HWF has been causing my 100-lb dog to be constipated, and she seems to not feel well and is less energetic. I could not complete the Basic Detox, which I stopped after about 12 days because Cocoa was not doing well. I then went to the Maintenance schedule, so I gave her a week off and after a few days she got back on track with her pooping habits and energy. I resumed administering Clean Heart with a lower dose (2 ml instead of the 3 ml recommended for her weight). Unfortunately, the same symptoms are presenting. I will finish the first bottle to see if things improve. If not, I plan to discontinue HWF and will give my unopened second bottle to my neighbors, whose tiny little dog seems to do well on it. I don't know what to do to protect our 8-year-old Cocoa from heartworms at this point! The conventional meds caused even worse problems over the years and that's why I was excited to try HWF. Our 16 year old Min Pin has been one of the healthiest dogs I've seen…and one day, it seemed as if her health was sliding extremely fast. After taking her to the vet to find out her condition could be caused by a neurological problem; a tumor; heart disease; cancer; kidney or liver failure, we thought about making her life as comfortable as possible. My older dog, a now-14.5 year old husky/lab mix, has been taking Resvantage for about 2 years or so. My dog has had degenerative disc disease and for several years he has days where he cannot walk that far. He walk .25 miles or less. I have a dog carrier that I put him in when he starts limping. Since he is 11.5 years old, he walks very slow and I walk him for him to help keep and try to keep some muscle tone. Anyway, I bought Four Leaf Rover about one month ago and I have noticed a difference. He now walks up to 2 miles per day. When I first started this product, I would put him in his cart at 1/2 mile, at 1 mile and finally 2 miles. He has been walking 2 miles per day. He does not walk fast but now he can walk for a longer distance. I will continue to give him this product since it seems to be helping. As a side note, he does get Galliprant every day, but the addition of Green Eggs really has enhanced his mobility. I hope this review helps someone. I was skeptical at first, but it does work my dog.
I have bought countless jars of this for my two big senior dogs, one who died in late winter 2021 and the one I adopted as a senior a couple of months later. The first dog was a gourmand who ate everything with gusto, including this. The second one can be much more selective with flavors and textures. Most of the time he likes this, which is a big relief because it’s so helpful for his achy old joints. He’s a giant dog and has ‘the worst knees’ one of his vets has ever seen. This blend works really well, and weirdly I like the way it smells 😂. I need great big jars of the stuff! I am the mommy of two furkids, a five pound Chihuahua and five pound Yorkie. They are quite active, and bouncy, and the Chihuahua will play fetch with her toys until your arm falls off from throwing said toys. My Yorkie girl has some conformation issues with her hind quarters, and too much bouncing on and off furniture, even if she uses the doggie steps, can cause a painful situation. Both of them seem to think that gravity doesn't apply to them. I started with the small container of Green Eggs, after researching ingredients and reading comments. I have definitely seen improvement in my Yorkie girl. She has a better range of extension, and flexibility with both rear legs. Although my Chihuahua girl seemed to have no issues, I was giving it to her as well, because being a toy breed, I know that she would be susceptible to knee issues problems. I ordered the large container after finishing the first, and I'm sure glad that I did. My Chihuahua was zooming around on the hardwood floor, and I heard her yelp, really loud. When I got to her, she was holding her left rear leg up. In flexing the leg, I heard the popping sound that told me she had a luxating patella, and seemed also to be tender around the hip joint. I started increasing the amount of Green Eggs, as well as CBD oil, and limited her activity. It's been three weeks, and she still skips on that leg on occasion, and I know that her knee is more prone to reinjury, but I feel certain that the Green Eggs helped speed her recovery. This is a product that I will continue to supplement both girls with. The only downside is that Green Eggs smells awful, due to the mussels! I can get over that, because it works! There was only ONE tab, not two. I had to tape my diaper in order for it to stay on my dog. These diapers are the WORST diapers I’ve ever seen. The instructions and all the pictures say there’s two tabs. I had to get long pieces of clear tape and tape the side that didn’t have the tab and the side with the existing tab to make sure it wouldn’t come off. I tried to put the first one back on my dog and there were holes in it when I took it off once because I had to tape it. I’ve never seen such poor quality things. I could’ve made a diaper and it would still be better than these diapers and I’m not the crafty type. If there was a zero star option I would put that. These are absolutely horrible.Human

My senior dog's liver values have been elevated due to medications and age. SAMe and Milk Thistle were recommended and we have been using both by Vita Pet Life. My dog likes the taste and eats them as a treat. Dasuquin is an updated product from Nutramax. We gave Nutramax Cosequin to old German Shepherd and Australian cattle dogs that have since passed on because it gave them relief from joint pain that was obvious in the improvement in their ability to get up and lie down and run again. I'm giving maintenance doses of Dasuquin to two large dogs we have now that are age 4 and 5yr to extend the life of their joints. The ingredients are similar to human nutritional supplements for older people: Glucosamine, chondroitin, brewers yeast, dextrose, green tea extract, gum resin, lecithin, cellulose, mixed tocopherols, flavoring and soy protein. avocado/soybean unsaponifiables (ASU) ….. We haven't used Dasuquin long enough for a long term review so my rating is based on previous experience with Nutramax products. The tablets are 3/4 inch in diameter. My dogs won't eat them as they are so I break them into fourths with my fingers and drop them into their food. The tablets are easy to break. I have two Norwegian Elkhounds, 10 going on 11 years old. They've been together their whole lives, and show no signs of slowing down. Despite that, I have taken notice to them tumbling a bit- they run too fast! They run into each other, etc..This breed especially is prone to issues with their hips and joints. I have tried supplements over the years but most seem to not agree with their tummies. I am happy to say these GlycoFlex have NOT upset their stomachs at all. I see no negative side effects and my babies love them. They've been running around, jumping up and down, and I've seen no trips, falls or stumbles. My dog has the large dog supplements not the small dog as she is a labrador .My dog has severe joint issues bilateral hip and knee displacia and has to go to hydrotherapy twice a week .She now has 2 fake hips and 2 fake knees so she needs all the help she can get so we give her these . We decided to give these dog supplements a try along side her pain reliefs medication after her dog consultant told us after all her operations that something like this might be beneficial to her , she has been on this brand a while now . They must taste ok as she eats them like treats and does not spit them out like her other medication she has to take daily . In all honesty I have not seen a improvement but she has severe displacia so no amount of these tablets are going to fix her but we have not seen a degeneration in her bones and she is now 8 so maybe they are doing a little to help her stopping getting worse .If your dog is just getting old and has arthritis you may find that these will help keep your furbabies joints supple .I would recommend them like I said she's not got worse so that's a plus .I find them affordable compared to some of these kind of products so I would say give them a go
My 7-yr-old cat has been taking GlycoFlex Ultimate Strength Joint Support for several months now and loves it; it's her morning treat. Although I was not previously seeing signs of joint discomfort in her, I suspect they would show up at some point. I, therefore, chose to start her on this product prior to any issues. The chews in whole form are a bit tough, although cats with healthy teeth could handle breaking them down. My cat has a fine set of choppers, but I felt she would enjoy this snack more if it was smaller pieces, so I dice up the chew into six or seven small bits, add just a smidge of water, warm it in the microwave (3 seconds), and serve. Oh, I forgot to tell you, my cat is spoiled :-). She enjoys this treat and licks the bowl clean. I highly recommend this product.

I have an 8 yr old Rottweiler I've had since 6 wks old .
