Dog Harness For English Bulldog For Sale (Feb 2023 Update)

Seems like good construction. I liked the pads on top to prevent pinching, but overall, it is still the same standard harness you can get everywhere. Unfortunately, I am still on the hunt for a good harness to use for running with my dog. The harness rubbed under his armpits and rubbed them raw. The look of the harness is great however the material cannot stand up to chewing which is not covered under warranty. I bought one yesterday and this morning I left to get breakfast and when I got back 20 minutes later he had chewed through one of the straps and had taken a chuck out of the nylon canvas chest piece. Very disappointed in the product and was hoping it was made better and would hold up for years like their jackets have.Brady

Rugged ,tough , durable harness . Works like it should . It takes a little time to get a proper adjustment , unless your dog is growing it's a one time thing . We like it better than other harnesses we have . I find it laughable that people would give a poor review because their dog chewed on it . That's on the owner and their poor dog . It's not the harness' fault .steve

As I previously stated I bought two of these harnesses in two different sizes. A small and a medium as I was not sure which would work. The small is a great fit for my 13 lb Shih Tzu. But this is summer and she is shaved down. I am going to use the medium size for winter to go over her sweaters and coats. She is also is not shaved down for colder weather so I tend to buy larger sizes for the colder seasons. Besides the price was great.Marlene D

This is the best harness I have ever had for my lil shih tzu/yorkie mix. The only thing is he does not like me having to put his legs thru it and does not like anything being put over his head other than that its awesome! Absolutely love it! This harnass lasted exactly three minutes. I put it on my dog, adjusted it, and she chewed it for a second and it completely tore. The company acknowledges that it can not withstand even a quick nip from your dog. Ridiculously poor quality. Their answer is for you to spend another 12.99 for a warranty to get another harnass which will do the same thing. Awful product that is expensive. Dismissive and unethical customer service. There are many other good options for harnesses out there. Save your money and aggravation .Kerri R

I really like the product. The two connection points give me more control over my reactive dog. A few months after purchase I noticed some of the nylon was unraveling near one of the box stitches. I contacted the company and provided pictures and they replaced it right away. Great product and great service.

Just know that this isn’t a miracle product that will completely stop your dog from pulling. It’s not a replacement for training. YOU as the owner have to teach your dog proper leash manners. But if you want more control, or you have a reactive dog, I definitely recommend this.Rachel Cormier

This has been a major breakthrough with my crazy pulling dog! We have tried several other collars as well as a harness that had more of a collar and only attached to the leash on the back. Vår hund är precis mitt emellan Mini och minimini. Mao han är en liten hund men modell större. Därför är det lite svårt att köpa ngt. som han ska ha på sig utan att ha provat. Men den här selen sitter riktigt ok. Ser lite ut som en flytväst dock i färgen men det gör inget 🙂Anna

I love this harness. I have a Boston Pitbull Terrier. He is about 40 lb. it looks really good on him. I have a hard time finding a harness he cant slip out of. All the adjustible straps make it really nice and secure. I really love the high quality leather and the felt padding that is strong and cumfrotable for him. I can now walk him with confidence knowing he cant escape my controllMommy

Measurements are accurate and fits my Great Dane with no issues. Very tough. My pup is around 170 lb and I can stop him in his tracks if he tries to Jet after something, which doesn't happen often, and the harness has held up very well without any signs of tearingboadu22

Was disappointed. The picture shows 2 engraved tags—only includes one. Was told the two images were for visual of both sides but the description says tag”s!” The photo ID came darker than my original. Asked for a redo and sent a lighter image. Original was redone but just printed lighter. Was told the second photo could not be used since the original was used. Did not realize the image needed to be a very light image because their processing prints darker. Therefore, only 4 stars since communication with them did not go the extra effort.Carol C.S.

This harness is perfect for my dog. She is 70 pounds and the first time I put it on her she didn't seem to mind it at all. The attachment handle is perfect as it lays down because I don't need or use the handle all the time and I didn't want a rigid one that stood up. The patches are bold and really easy to read and also remove if needed to replace it with a different patch. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend it.Kendall

This is the 2nd powair harness I have purchased, my puppy is now 6months old and needed a bigger size, I was so, or should I say my puppy was so comfortable wearing this particular harness so there was not any reason to change. I have had this harness for Nikita, my Siberian Husky for a few months. I ❤️ this harness, it definitely helps with my fur baby when he tries to pull, & it is nice looking too.

I just got a couple Airdale Terrier puppies that are about 4 1/2 months now. They're in training now so I wanted to find something that would be comfortable for them while learning to walk on leash. My daughter told me about these harnesses and how they're like a hug for puppies/dogs. I decided to give it a try and I'm glad I did. They fit perfectly. The dog in the nautical harness is 35lbs, and the dog in the purple harness is 31lbs. They're both wearing an XL and there's some room for them to grow as well. Thank you, EcoBark!Bill

We have a very active chocolate lab and this harness fits well and works like a dream. Front-attach harnesses work to destabilize the dog so you are not in a tug of war. Everyone we have suggested this harness to is a believer because it makes walking the dog less of a battle. Eventually the clips loosen with wear and when our dog jumps they sometimes now release so we needed to buy a new the harness. We tried a different brand and it rubbed the fur off of her chest – so this brand really is a superior fitSusan L.

My dog was btwn sizes, so I took him on a little road trip to the store to get the right fit. Gilbert is horribly nervous in cars, pet stores, vets, with his own shadow, etc. but the amazing Wooftown employee (L) sat down on the floor with the harnesses and kindly waited as he calmed down. It has really helped my dog stop pulling & made walks easy fun. But it's hard to fit. I bought two sizes: petite small (aka too small) and small (aka too big). I kept the petite small, but it sits too far forward on her shoulders and she can wriggle out of the harnessblime65

So far so good. He seems happy wearing it. A bit tricky to get on (not possible for my kids to do it) but I’m okay with that. I don’t like the extra slack though especially in the car. Tried three different harnesses before this one for my large and energetic 80-pound Hank the Cow Dog and was disappointed with all until I found this Good2Go Dog Harness, size L! It is absolutely perfect!!! It is easy to use, super comfortable for my dog, yet highly sturdy! And although Hank has had many a dog training class, he never gave up his 'pulling ways' on our daily dog walks, but once I put this harness on him, he magically stopped pulling!!!! Pros: LOVE the "walk in" design: an adult retriever who used to RUN FOR HER LIFE from other harness styles literally JUMPS into this one 8-D (jumps her face into it) Cons: FALSE ADVERTISEMENT : absoulutely no effect on desire to pull (tested on 3+ breeds) Addisitonal adjustments likely required after adjusting to fit (see below for details*) personal solution: I will be trying the jaws style that they also walk their face into but that clips on the sides for my new (excited, pulling, lunging) dog Good2Go resommendation: use thick/durable bungee cord for bottom frame section that cmoes throug the guide WHY? 1. They dont even have to step into it (translation: we don't have to lift their legs for them when they're tired) 2. The main issue that have with this one is the leash excess (~ 1 ft w/ a 70# retriever) that remains after it is tightened. *Have to clip leash to main metal guide & either wrap excess around center of harness or let dangle: if used as designed as is you'll have your half pound metal leash hook bounce on their back and knock them in their side the entire timepjbee

This is my second harness from Big & Little Dogs, as my puppy grew out of our first one. We were really impressed by the quality and safety attachments of the harness. I have had her name put on both harnesses and none of this has peeled off even when I’m hand washing it after she runs through a puddle. This harness is great harness and perfect for my puppy who did not like harnesses that go over her head. She wears this when walking and when in the car. The front clip is good for her seatbelt and her light when we walk in the dark. I have received many compliments on the pattern!Ashleigh

I love this harness so much, having the clip around the neck helps us a lot! We have a Japanese Spitz with tiny little shoulders but a round tummy. So pull over harnesses don’t fit her right. The extra secure clip for the neck is amazing.Nikki W.

As any husky owner knows, they love pulling, and backing out of harnesses. Huskies put Houdini to shame with their amazing ability to escape from collars and harnesses. After trying a zillion harnesses for our 6th Siberian Husky, we stumbled upon the Goat Trail Tactical and threw our money down in hopeful anticipation. The buckles are amazing, and although the back plastic buckles are stiff to get on and off, that's EXACTLY what we need. The front metal buckles are secure and strong. The straps allow us to snug that harness up tight (not too tight, 2 fingers under) in all the right places to hold it secure without her strangling. The leash loop connectors are metal, securely sewn in and instill confidence that it would take a major catastrophe for them to pull out. Having the front connector allows us to connect a leash on the back and front, limiting her ability to drag us down the street like a sled. The rubber handle on the back… genius! Most harnesses have a flap of material that is difficult to grab, and cuts into your hand, twists, and is virtually worthless, but not the rubber handle on the SSGLex. Easy to grab, sturdy to hold, and perfectly positioned to get control when that suicidal squirrel darts in front of your very prey driven young husky. Getting on and off is a breeze with various ways to go about it: either shove the head through and snap the back up, or one leg through over the top snap neck and back in. Even with young husky totally freaking out because she knows the harness means GO TIME, it's quick and easy to buckle up. The little backpacks are cute, but until she gets out of her velociraptor stage of ripping things to shreds, we took them off, and also moved the included Goat Trail patch on the back. Love all the mollie loops and velcro for various and sundry things. We purchased a Medium because she has some more growing to do and it fits very nicely with plenty of room for adjustments later on. My only suggestions is to include the little strap loops for the back like there are on the front. She took to it well, and seems comfortable enough that she doesn't mind wearing it. She is NOT happy about the front leash restricting her ability to cripple us with her pulling, but she'll get over that. Finally a harness that gives us the confidence and security of knowing she won't back out of it and escape, we can walk her without being dragging down the street (the neighbors are somewhat disappointed that we found this solution and no longer gather on their porches each walk time for entertainment), and is comfortable to her as well. Job well done, I highly recommend this harness to all of my husky owning friends.P.B.

I wanted something more comfy and secure, with a no-pull front ring for my APBT. She’s 65lbs but pulls extremely hard when excited. We moved from a Kong brand harness that I trust with my life but this one is so much more comfy for us both. My concern were the two side clips being plastic which I’m not used to, but I haven’t had any problems, and it doesn’t feel loose after taking it off and on about 30 times. I bought their leash too and it has made walking a breeze as well. Doesn’t make the “bunny runs” as brutal for my shoulder. I’ve only used the front ring with my rope leash, and the no-pull leash with the back ring. Not sure which method is better but both have put me at ease. Worth the money for me.Taylor M.

Harness is top quality, heavy duty and very secure. A world of difference walking my 9 month old highly energetic 60 lb Australian/German Shepherd pup now. Still some training to do but the strong pulling quickly subsides on our walks now and when he does pull he doesn't have the leverage so he's still very manageable. Harness couldn't have come sooner as my boy literally pulled me off my feet a couple days before the harness arrived. Detachable backpack is very cool too. Will easily carry treats and waste bags with bungee strap on top perfect for a small water bottle. Will work great for long hikes up here in the mountains. I would definitely recommend getting the bungee leash as well. I ordered this a few days after the backpack and so glad I did. It also made a huge difference. It adds a certain amount of resistance where my dog quickly tires of pulling and also makes it much easier on both of us since there's no constant jerking motion. Highly Recommend!!!Rick M.
