During the day I have to crate my 11 week old Pitbull puppy and she is not a big fan of it, yet. Well the first day I crated her, I foolishly gave her full run of her 42" crate with the bumper lining in it and the cover of the crate. Well I got home to a DRIED, HARD poop smear fest. I was so worried that the staining from her poo would not wash off of the Khaki cratewear. Well not only did it (thansks to Nature's Miracle Pet Detergent too) but it maintained it's length and shape. I was afraid that it would shrink in the dryer, even on the dleicate cycle. No need to worry. Since then I have taken the bumper out, put her divider up and only the cover remains on the crate. She has gotten poo on the cover and holds well with each wash. I recommend that if you have a puppy new to crating, only use the cover and then when they can be trusted not to mess, add back in the bed and bumper. I personally cannot wait until she gets to that age, because when you put it all together, it looks FAB! My mom really likes the cover as well, great home estetic (sp?) and it makes the crate look so much more homey then w/o it. Recommend to shop around for price, thus far dog.com had the best deal!R. Create a cosy doggy den that you will all appreciate. this deluxe crate cover are fashioned from a patch work design fabric and have been caringly constructed in my studio, here in uk. the cover simply fits directly over the top of the crate. it is fitted with two practical roll down doors each door being fitted with two wooden toggles. the doors can be rolled up during the day and rolled down when its time to sleep. these deluxe covers constructed with an outer cover and inner lining with the outer edges finished in a smart piped design. the cover can be cleaned if required. to wash the cover, remove from crate turn inside out and then wash using a cool hand wash cycle only with a maximum temperature of 30oc, with a low spin speed then reshape if possible on the crate, then remove and thoroughly air dry. do not tumble dry. not suitable for dry cleaning. do not wash with washing substances containing bleaching or abrasive cleaning agents. the covers can be made to measure to suit different crates and come in a range of four sizes. small (s), medium (m) large (l) and extra large (xl). to select the size that applies to your crate please measure the length of the the crate (the longest side of your crate) and then refer to the size information given below to select the relevant size. crate longest side measurement is less than or equal to 24" = small (s) crate longest side measurement is more than 24" (61cm) but less than or equal to 30" (76.2cm) = medium (m) crate longest side measurement is more than 30" (76.2cm) but less than or equal to 36"(91.5cm) = large (l) crate longest side measurement is more than 36" (91.5cm) and less than or equal to 43" (109cm) = extra large (xl) once you have determined the relevant size please then forward to me all of the measurements that are shown on the measurement sheet shown in the last of the listing photo's. please take care when taking measurements, measure twice and cut once as my farther would say. please return the measurements as, a=??, b=???, c=??, etc. if you are in any doubt about how to send the required measurements please do message me.
