I got a new puppy and was at a loss as how to handle the new job of training since we had finished training our little morkie months ago. I decided I needed a blanket on the carpet for her to be comfortable on since she couldn't get on the furniture until she was bigger, and was hoping this would be her comfy blanket when she was outside her doggy playpen area. I absolutely love this product. I bought one for my black lab who sheds like crazy two years ago. I was so happy with it, I got one for my son who found it to be a life-saver with a large huskie in rainy Chicago. I recently ordered a Pawtect blanket and not realizing I had purchased one earlier in the year and was to use it for my neighbors 13 year old beagle that had been staying with me for a few years. She had torn a ligament in her leg and could no longer climb up the 20 steps to his apartment. Being old and a little overweight the vet didnt feel she would withstand the operation. Having thyroid trouble she was always cold. Well when this blanket arrived it was so warm and thick that she never wanted to get off of it. A month later she could no longer walk and we had to put her to sleep. I washed the blanket, which washes and dries and returns to just like it was bought, nice and fluffy and warm. Warm weather was coming and I folded it up and put it away. I saw these advertised and ordered one forgetting I had a very big one. When it came in and I saw how small it was I knew it was too small for my lab and when I saw what it was like I realized I had a very large one put away. My Lab loves it and is always sleeping on it and it washes so nice. I was going to donate this small one to a local pet agency but do to covid they were not accepting anything for awhile, As I was talking to an elderly lady she was telling me about her older dog and it has arthritis and is always cold and she dont know what to do already. I took her the small blanket I just got in the mail and told her this is for you dog and I know it will keep him warm and a week later she called crying that she cant thank me enough and she said that was the best gift I have ever got. My sweet dog this last year has started to leak will he’s in bed at. He sleeps with us on our bed. This is a great blanket that I use daily, for an absorbing barrier. Even though I take him out in the middle of the night, he can still face an accident, I wash his blankets every day. First this blanket is huge! Definitely no question its waterproof. One side feels like suede and the other soft feels like a fur blanket. The first few days our dog avoided it each time we tried to get him to sit on it after a while we just left it in a big fold next to his bed. Then we noticed when we got home from work he would be sleeping on it. It doesn't show dirt which I'm certain has to be there from wet paws. On the flip side this would be the perfect blanket to lay out for tummy time for babies and toddlers.Jenmom

I bought this when I brought my 3 month old russell terrier mix home. I wanted to protect my couch and teach him which side of the couch he can consider his. Throughout potty training he's peed on this many times and it's so easy to spot clean or throw in the laundry where it washed and dried very well. The water resistant type fabric on the black side keeps 99% of the urine contained to the blanket. So, if it's a small accident I don't even need to clean the couch at all and if he has a bigger accident I only have a few drops to clean up off the couch.BaconsMom2
Just bought this blanket for our 45 – 50 lb Pit Shepard mix. He’s just over a year old so he’s really playful and still likes to chew. He loves this blanket. We washed it and threw it over our rug and he immediately laid on it. He knows it’s his and lays on it whenever he gets a chance. It’s pretty thick and puffy like a puffy jacket, but heavier weight and much more durable. It provides a great layer of padding on any floor. We’ve even taken it in the car and he falls right asleep on it. We’re thinking of buying a second throw to use on the patio amid/or take camping.Busters Fan Club

I was pleasantly surprised by these blankets (we got two)! They’re actually fairly heavy, not by any means flimsy and thin like many dog blankets you’ll find. One side is a fleece material, as described, the other is a very soft plush fabric. We have an Italian Greyhound who’s living her best life, showing us all that 12 is just the beginning of the high life. Who also happens to be one burrowing little pup. While she’ll be happy with any form of warmth, she certainly has some blankets that she will prefer over others if they’re laid out for her to run and bundled up under. They’re also perfectly easy to wash, threw it in the cold cycle with normal (Tide liquid) detergent and fabric softener, threw it in the dryer and it was good as new. Even after our other pup decided he wanted to give himself a mud bath after a recent storm, and share the muddy love with everything in the house before we could catch him after he came barreling in like a wrecking ball. Don’t name your dog Turbo unless you’re prepared. Pro tip. Anyways, totally pup parents and (most importantly) pup approved! (Yes, both dogs are under each blanket in their beds in the pictures, only one of them popped her head out to say hi- the blankets just came out of the dryer- that’s prime blanket time)BlueLinePI
This blanket is exactly as pictured and my dogs are big fans of it already! Both sides are visually appealing and soft. It’s so convenient to place over the chaise portion of our couch where our dogs like to lay. The size is a perfect fit without having to fold it or re-arrange it constantly. My doggie has her own "seat" in the living room and I always put a blanket down for her comfort and to protect the fabric underneath. This works well for both purposes and it looks great.
