Absolutely the most fantastic doggy bed for my little 6 pound Yorkie. Purchased the small which is actually larger than I thought, but is the perfect size allowing for him to lay stretched out if he likes vs. having to be curled up all the time like is the case with some other small bolster donut beds. The fur length & super soft, silky feel, the depth of the bed, the little “snuggle pockets” he can nuzzle under – all the way around, this bed checks all the boxes. Added bonus? The Fur Haven pet bed is better than I imagined. The cover is not the natty fleece that traps pet hair most similar beds are constructed of. The Fur Haven bed has a soft silky feel covering, is stuffed just soft enough and surprisingly lightweight, but NOT flimsy. I’m confident this will wash up nicely when the time comes. The bed is super soft and comfortable. Sometimes I find myself laying in it. My dog loves to rest and sleep in it. I now have two… one for the bedroom and one for the living room. I love that you can remove the cover and wash it as well. The customer service by FurHaven is amazing as well! The filling in one of the beds became flat, and another that I'd ordered had a hole in it, that they ended up sending me an entire new bed for free!

My miniature dachshund would give this bed 5 stars. He seems to settle in immediately when I put him on it (it's a little high so for his 3 inch legs to climb on). I only wish they made these snuggle beds with less of a crease around the inner circle. He will occasionally get his legs stuck in the crease and is unable to pull himself out because his legs sink so far into it.. I ordered a Medium, and I'm pretty sure I got a Large. It's bigger than the Medium size bed, and since it's for my kitten, I'm really hoping he grows into it! I have this exact same bed in a medium size that I purchased years ago, and the foam in that one is a LOT thicker than the foam in the one I received from Groupon. I'm not sure if that's a change in production/quality by Furhaven products, but I do wish the foam was thicker, especially for such a large bed. My kitten seems to like it, so I'm keeping it, even though it's HUGE for him.
My two dogs, who are very particular about laying on blankets and pillows, both gravitated to this bed as soon as I put it out for them. They love the combination of the orthopedic bed with the soft and fuzzy plush covering on it and will stay there for hours, when they used to only curl up on the couch with a blanket with a human. The first night of sleeping on this bed was the best night for me…why…because He didn't wake me up until 9am instead of 7:30 am to go out to potty. The "cooling" side of the mattress is a lie. I know how cooling mattresses looks like and yours just have the color but not a cooling layer. My dog is very hot in his new bed during hot days and sleeps on the floor. Therefore, I feel cheated for having paid almost $50 for this bed. Also, the cover material is synthetic which naturally created heat and on top of a synthetic sponge creates a really too hot environment for my dog. The material is slippery so my elderly dog can hardly get up. The only reason I gave two stars is that the shape and height are good. Still, sizes you provide are inadequate and not a reflection of dog needs which is strange when Furheaven is in this business. My Yorki is a normal size. Yet, when I bought small which you recommend according to the size and weight chart as well as the sleeping area measurements you provided,he can fit well provided he is all the time in something like a fetus position and he doesn't move much. He cannot stretch or lie down in such a way so as to have at least an inch of space between himself and the sides of the bed. Dogs sometimes sleep in a stretched position and do need some extra space. Dogs also move during the sleep, swirl around, wiggle. So I had to get him a medium size which is really too big for him and the space where we keep it in our apartment but I am happy he has some extra space. Humans don't sleep in beds which are exactly their size. Standard beds even if a twin size have some extra space on all four sides because nobody stays in one position during the night. We absolutely LOVE this bed!!! It is extremely well made with separate zippered compartments for the bolster and bed padding. This makes it very easy to wash the cover and not the padding. I highly recommend the "Convoluted Orthopedic Foam" Mattress. As we live in California where the weather is warmer, the "Quilted" Cover material has been perfect all year round. This is actually our second bed that we bought. The first bed we bought for our an older dog who was starting to get arthritis and have back issues. I was very excited to finally have a dog bed that based on reviews was spoken of as a pretty well lasting product. Got this bed for an older 50 lb. dog needing a soft place to lay, also got another 4-5 inch thicker orthopedic bed for her.As soon as we opened and laid this bed out she got on it and didn't get off of it except to go out to the bathroom, then came right back to the bed. It gives a little from her lying on it but I just shake it out to fluff it up. Its not real thick about 2 inches but soft and she seems to like it better than the sheepskin rug she use to sleep on.She rotates from this to the thicker bed, but I think this one gets a little more use.All in all a good bed that is easy to throw in the washing machine, soft and good neutral color. I got one of these beds (36” XL) for my pup who has separation anxiety. When she isn’t sleeping in bed with me, she is snuggled into her faux fur bed. I brought it to my parent’s place when I had a trip and, surprisingly to all of us, my dad’s 10 yr old Anatolian Shepard Mix (who was born in a cave in Afghanistan) fell in love with it. This dog does not like any type of comfort. Beds, toys, treats… she has never shown any interest in anything my dad has given her. When I returned from my trip the first thing I was asked is where I got it. Ever since Bella got her own fur donut bed, she seems to be actually sleeping better and less anxious… about everything. This has to be the best dog bed I have ever purchased. My dog plays toss with it. My baby also hides his toys and bones in it and He sleeps in it. It is super soft and furry. I do not recommend washing no matter ehat the instructions state but spot clean it as needed. I have never seen a pet bed washed that comes out like it went in. I cannot say anything negative about this pet bed except I need more for the cats. This particular size pet bed runs for around $35. The bottom is not very cushy but decent. We have a 55-60 lb dog and the 30×30 is way too big to be comfy but the next size smaller was cramped. I thought the fluffy fabric would be thicker but it is a bit thin for my taste. It does seem to be well constructed though. Do not stick this size in a large home dryer as it is too big and the heat will matte the fluffy strands (almost like melting) from the heat because it cannot move around enough.
