This has to be the best dog bed I have ever purchased. My dog plays toss with it. My baby also hides his toys and bones in it and He sleeps in it. It is super soft and furry. The bottom is not very cushy but decent. We have a 55-60 lb dog and the 30×30 is way too big to be comfy but the next size smaller was cramped. I thought the fluffy fabric would be thicker but it is a bit thin for my taste. It does seem to be well constructed though. Do not stick this size in a large home dryer as it is too big and the heat will matte the fluffy strands (almost like melting) from the heat because it cannot move around enough. Great mat but it showed and I had to open it and fully allow it to rise before we noticed it was not the correct size. I had measured and it seems this one is not the correct size. Weird as I order all the time. The box did not have the size or identification on it for me to confirm prior to opening. We kept it as it is a lovely mat but it is one size too small for our pup's crate.
This seems to be a good dog bed. Be prepared…. it takes 3 to 4 days for it to “fluff up”. It comes rolled up and it was really flat considering the specifications said it was 4” high! Letting it set to fluff it took about 3 days for it to become 4” high. The cover is a bit loose but does not bother my girl, she really likes her new bed. We purchased 2 xl beds. They came wrapped in plastic and vacuum sealed. The directions said they should fully expand in 24 to 72 hours. We are on day 5, and one of the beds is almost fully expanded, but the 2nd bed is still very squished in the center and corners. We are following the directions and shaking them several times a day. My foster pit bull, Blue, is obsessed with his new bed. It arrived yesterday around 5pm and four hours later he was still curled up in it sound asleep. Normally, when I sit down on the couch at the end of the workday, Blue comes catapulting across the room to snuggle with me. Not now! I'm honestly kind of shocked! Some reviewers said that the "pockets" for other products were too tight, which made me nervous. I can't compare this to other Snoozer beds, but the "pocket" on the rectangle bed is really ample. If I were ordering again, I would go down a size to the medium. Blue is about 45 lbs and 18" tall at his shoulder, and he has enough room to fully stand up inside the large bed's pocket if he wants to. The product is described as being just 8" tall in the large size, but I measured the opening from the top of the bed to the center of the hoop that holds the pocket open at 14-16". You can wash the outside of the bed fan but the inside is a paper bag filled with chopped up foam that can't be washed. i dont about everyione but I'll bet there goes outside and gets stinky. why would you sell a bed without a serviceable liner in it. I am thinking about throwing the inside bag away and buying another bed from a dufferent company that i can put inside that can be washed. The problem is that dog loves it ir i would throw it away. i have resirted to putting a large garbage bag over the stinky part so she can still use it until I can do better. To much work. This probably isn’t the review you’d expect, but my daughter LOVES this bed. When she was a few months old, we went on a family vacation and in lieu of spending $180 for a DockATot, we purchased this instead. This bed has literally been her obsession since that trip. Any time she sees it (even when I bring it downstairs to wash), she starts panting like a dog and rushes over to try and lay on it. We used it past the vacation and put it into her crib at home. She’s 20 months old now, and we’re trying to transition her to a toddler bed, but she keeps tossing and turning all night because she loves this dang dog bed so much and her regular toddler mattress just isn’t good enough for her. I came here to figure out what the minky fabric is that covers this darn bed so I can buy a fitted sheet of the same/similar texture to try and appease her and figured I would leave a review while I was here. We bought an extra when she was in daycare because she was having a rough time during nap time. Ohhh the laughs we got when I brought the dog bed in.. but it worked and she went right to sleep!Heather
It shrunk in size! Very disappointed in this purchase. They are making them smaller and the height is only 6 in compared to what the dimensions on the site saying 8 inches tall, they should be careful about that. Wish the pillow wasn’t so firm…. It doesn’t give at all… It looked as if my dog was floating on top of the pillow. Overall design is beautiful. I love the legs and I like the look of the walnut finish. Would’ve given five stars if the pillow was more comfortable. This bed is so comfy for my whippet! She probably need the large but she nevertheless loves cuddling in it. She’s used to being on a couch/bed, but even when I put this bed on the floor she prefers it to the couch! I have 4 pets and they refuse to use this. I have even put catnip on it so that maybe my cat would use it and she is refusing to use it as well. They are all scared of it, it is lumpy and slides all over the floor so they can't even get into it and then it scares them when it moves. I have even tried putting it on top of a larger pet bed so that it won't move around on them but they won't go near it. Such a waste of money.cjay
