We have purchased quite a few items from PetSafe over the years and have always been happy with the quality. The idea of it is cool. Our pup likes to go the park but I always take the older car. The gray color of this is nice and it doesn't look too bad with my new car interior. It secures to the headrest and seats. The bolster is quite firm and supportive but it isn't my favorite PetSafe item by far. While inserting the bolster, my fingers kept poking through the fabric. I've dealt with the same type of fabric before with other beds and never had an issue. Once I got it in there, the zipper was stretched to the max. I was sure it was going to be the first thing to go. It says this bed is machine washable but I wouldn't. The actual fuzzy part of the bed has a cushion you insert too but even with it, there's no "bed" at all really. Very thin materials. It's not holding up well so far. If you have a smaller dog that doesn't move around much in the backseat it may work better. I just don't think it holds up good for big dogs like mine. My wife's car has leather seats and we noticed that the bed slips all over the place. No grippers on the bottom at all. I can't really recommend it.semiller3

This is a quite nice and sturdy seat protector! The only negative is it's a bit slick compared to the quilted one we had before that wasn't so sturdy, but our lab was used to getting in and out on. We remedied that by putting 2 carpet samples across the seat on top of it. They have a rubber bottoms and soft carpet tops so our big lab loves it and no sliding! What a great seat cover. It's so thick & sturdy. I love that it has the rubbery underside, so it won't slide off the seat. I have a split back seat, to which I always leave 1 seat down (for equipment). This cover allows me to hook it onto the upright seat & lay it over the folded seat, yet be able to secure it to the upright headrests. I also like that it has the velcro close for the seatbelt hole. When I don't want to use it, my dogs paws won't get caught in the hole. In fact, the only thing I didn't like was that it didn't come with instructions, so I had to go online to look at pictures to figure out how to install it. Once done, it's really very easy. It also has loops to place on the front seat backrests to make it sort of a confined space/hammock. I bought this for my dachshund for traveling between Florida and North Carolina. It works beautifully! It is large enough so she has plenty of room. It stays in place on the seat. I even washed it, though it was not recommended, and it is perfect. I now also use it for short trips. The only down side was that I could not use the clip for keeping her in the seat. Being a dachshund, her body is too long. Highly recommend it. We even use it as one of her dog beds while at home.Linda
Better quality than I expected for the price. Easy to secure to the seat and our medium size dog is quite comfortable in the it. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because it is a bit wider than the seat causing it to hang over the front of the bench back seat by a couple inches. Otherwise we are very pleased with the product.Camille
