I have an aggressive chewer (25 lbs Dachshund/Rat Terrier) who can destroy any dog toy in less than 30 minutes, especially if it's advertised as "indestructible." Not so with Suspicious Chicken. Lost a little stuffing in one leg, but the stitching held and chewer was not able to disembowel the chicken. my chewer cannot get her teeth between the stitching or gnaw her way into the material, which is a rather slippery canvas. It's held up very well. But my 2 dogs don't spend a lot of time gnawing and trying to rip apart toys so I don't know how well it would hold up to a real Terminator dog. The red comb on the head lasted 2 minutes but the rest of the item seems well made. The body is quite bulbous and large so small dogs will have a hard time grasping it. It's rather long too. Perfect for my large and extra large mixed terrier breeds and for a medium sized dog but probably nothing smaller. Update Nov 2015: I've bought 3 more since the initial one. They hold up great and I end up throwing them out only when they get disgustingly filthy despite multiple washings. I have a large yard with a lot of dirt areas. My female AmStaf Terrier Mix loves to shake it to death but my lanky male XL Airedale Mix likes to steal it out of her mouth and then repeatedly bite down on the body to hear the tiny squeaky thing.P.

Normally, I only use this when we go to the park since I don't want to break things in the house, but I think they have come up with a version with softer balls for indoor play. This toy makes it very easy to throw your ball super far. It doesn't take much energy, but it sure takes the energy out of the dogs! If your dog knows how to fetch, you really just have to sit there and launch the ball and wait for your dog to bring it back. My larger dogs seem to be able to grasp these balls better due to their larger jaws, but my small dog enjoys chasing her bigger brothers just as much. My dog loves her new ball. She’s been keeping it in her bed with her, so cute! The ball is a little bigger than a softball and has a soft terry-like material on the outside that has a really nice feel, sort of like a stuffed animal. The Flylight is the most comfortable Frisbee to throw when you have finished a long day of work and want to play with your dog. You don't have to be a expert Frisbee thrower and the glow in the dark ones are also nice when the sun is setting and your doggo just got a chance to play. The only downside to the amazing light foam (that doesn't hurt my dogs teeth), is that it is foam and will have to be replaced but considering this toy is used every day for at least 1 hour of fetch a day it is very much worth it. The fabric does come apart with my dogs enthusiastic gnawing after his catch but the foam inside stands up for longer. I received this from Hartz a week and a half ago after delays and am finally getting around to writing an HONEST review. I'll admit our dog is large and has an extreme oral fixation. She's constantly chewing on things. That being said, she loved the shape and smell of it. She tore into it immediately and even with her fixation, she was able to make it last for a few days, probably a record for her beyond the ball she had received earlier. This is a fun treat for any dog, we would highly recommend it.

I like that the toy and treat was not to small and not to big seemed to be just right since our dog is very small but he was able to take it from room to room. I would recommend this toy as the toy is touch and the food in it was easy to eat for the dog.dibingolady3

Our furry 4 legged huge 48kg Sheprador 18mth old pup is a never say die frisbee ultimate enthusiast! I have been using Chuck-it! frisbees for years with my dog. When Chuck-it! discontinued the large triangular Heliflight I wasn't sure what I was going to do because my dog LOVED his – we had been through 3 of them. The Flying Squirrel is no different in quality and comfort for my dogs mouth. Colors are great and it feels pretty durable given it is for fetching and not for chewing (it wouldn't survive a good chew). The biggest issue and as other reviews have mentioned, throwing this thing is SO DIFFICULT at first. I looked like a dizzy 5 year old trying to get it to go straight and not crash to the ground. *** The key is to GET IT WET!!! I took it to the lake and that changed everything. 1) it floats 2) the extra water weight makes throwing it a breeze 3) my dog couldn't get enough. I would 100% suggest this product for anyone planning on using it in the water. Using it on dry land takes some time and the learning curve is pretty painful, but it is still a solid choice for a lightweight fetching toy.N.
This is a great flying toy and my dog LOVES to play fetch with it. We play with it almost daily and he gets great exercise. However, I have to buy a new one every 3-4 weeks because this toy is not durable. It falls apart really quickly. It makes me want to re-design it myself. I suggest the following improvements: 1) Make the stitching MUCH stronger. 2) Improve the corners/tips and stiffeners so they don't come apart so quickly. 3) Use color-fast fabric. ETC. Please note that when the Flying Squirrel gets muddy, I have to rinse it off (almost every day,) so it needs to be able to withstand water/rinsing/scrubbing.Sammy in SF

Have small 20lb terrier & 40lb coonhound puppy & both seem to love the squeak & soft plushy nubs of this chew toy. Unfortunately it did not last a week with them. Bottle got crushed & became permanently misshapen by day 3 from their chewing while the head was semi-decapitated & stuffing removed by day 5. Wish it was worth replacing with another used non-squeaky water bottle but its not. Assuming within 1 more week it will be completely destroyed & will have to throw away.LoriN

My pup is absolutely crazy about fetch so I'm always looking for good durable toys. This is by far the best dog frisbee I've purchased so far, it still gets torn up eventually but lasts for about a month which is longer than any other. The best thing is that it's soft so it didn't hurt her mouth when she leaps up to catch it and it's durable enough to where it maintains its form and can still fly smoothly even after it's pretty beat up. Wish it didn't get to gross and slimy to touch when playing with it but I suppose that's inevitable. It would be perfect if there were some thrower where I didn't have to touch it.Gspaq12
