We have purchased quite a few items from PetSafe over the years and have always been happy with the quality. The idea of it is cool. Our pup likes to go the park but I always take the older car. The gray color of this is nice and it doesn't look too bad with my new car interior. It secures to the headrest and seats. The bolster is quite firm and supportive but it isn't my favorite PetSafe item by far. While inserting the bolster, my fingers kept poking through the fabric. I've dealt with the same type of fabric before with other beds and never had an issue. Once I got it in there, the zipper was stretched to the max. I was sure it was going to be the first thing to go. It says this bed is machine washable but I wouldn't. The actual fuzzy part of the bed has a cushion you insert too but even with it, there's no "bed" at all really. Very thin materials. It's not holding up well so far. If you have a smaller dog that doesn't move around much in the backseat it may work better. I just don't think it holds up good for big dogs like mine. My wife's car has leather seats and we noticed that the bed slips all over the place. No grippers on the bottom at all. I can't really recommend it.semiller3

Not for great for puppies. You can’t wash the foam insides which are just shredded foam in very thin and non-waterproof polypropylene sacks. Unless you are able to ensure no pee or liquids gets through any of the bottom/edges, it will get into the foam. We had to toss ours out. The sides are still fluffy and we restuffed the bottom with rags. We also had to wash this frequently because our pup had giardia. It says not to wash in machine but I have twice, I would flip entire thing inside out and wash inside a commercial (larger) washer at a laundromat I wouldn’t really suggest trying in your normal washer. Very thick padding on bottom of bed. It is actually several inches thick. Even with me sitting in it, I can't feel the floor. I think this would be great for older dogs due to the thick padding on base. The padding comes separate from the bed and when you unroll it, it increases in size. To assemble it, you just zip it in the bottom. The bottom base is rectangular and covers the whole entire bed at the bottom so no part of your dog is ever touching the hard ground. The bed is surrounded by thick bolsters and pretty flexible that the sides will move out if you dog wants to curl up or if they touch against the sides. My dog likes to use the side cushions as a head rest. I got the medium size for my dog who is a ~33lbs Shiba Inu. He's pretty big for his breed but it fits him perfectly when he decides to roll up in it and also he likes sleeping in it with his head up. I LOVE this dog bed! It’s great quality, I’ve had over a year now & have washed it a solid 8 times. It’s very attractive & neutral in styling as well – a plus! Aside some very very minor pilling (probably from blankets with it) it looks almost new still. The hidden zipper allows the main cushion to be removed (or added to or replaced) & machine washes & drys super well! I’m about to grab another for another area in home. I got the XL & have an very big (85-95lb) Weimaraner, it’s a good fit!
Both my dogs love it, mostly my medium sized dog. PROS -The bolstered sides make for a hood head rest or for them to lean against. -It is fluffy with good padding. CONS -No handles as stated in the description. -Only the base cushion can be removed to wash and not the side cushion. -The wool nap base collects so much dirt and hair from the dogs and is not easy cleaned with a vacuum. This dog bed even has my pup smiling while sleeping. This dog bed is comfortable YET aesthetically pleasing. It’s hard to find the best of both worlds! I purchased this in a size large for my Austrian Shepherd for size reference (but you definitely couldn’t go wrong with the XL). I love that there is a sticky underside so the bed won’t slide on a smooth surface. Not sure how well this would machine wash so be sure your dog isn’t dirty before snoozing. Other than that absolutely zero complaints!

This bed is comfortable but, the cover is poorly made. The cover was destroyed with holes in it the very first day. Our elderly dog likes to fluff up his bed a little but, we've never had one so poorly made that hasn't held up. For us this was not worth the price. Not for great for puppies. You can’t wash the foam insides which are just shredded foam in very thin and non-waterproof polypropylene sacks. Unless you are able to ensure no pee or liquids gets through any of the bottom/edges, it will get into the foam. We had to toss ours out. The sides are still fluffy and we restuffed the bottom with rags. We also had to wash this frequently because our pup had giardia. Have had this for almost 3 months and the nonstick dots are mostly off due to the washing. Pup isn’t a heavy chewer and the sides and bottom have held up well.NoSlubs
I got this for my dog who has been extra aches lately as her other beds were worn out and flat. Although i don’t think this is memory foam quality, the cushion on this one is extra thick and a little firm so it doesn’t seem like it will flatten out too quickly which is good. My dog is on the thinner side for her length (40lbs) and the large is a decent size. any smaller it would have been snug but she has room to stretch, her legs dangle off a little but she has extra long legs. I put a blanket on top so it’s easier to keep clean as my dog has black fur and the bed is white which i don’t think is the greatest color for a dog bed but whatever.abbysmama

My miniature dachshund would give this bed 5 stars. He seems to settle in immediately when I put him on it (it's a little high so for his 3 inch legs to climb on). I only wish they made these snuggle beds with less of a crease around the inner circle. He will occasionally get his legs stuck in the crease and is unable to pull himself out because his legs sink so far into it.. BUT, I have other Bessie and Barnie beds and appreciate the quality of them all. My dogs love these beds! I don't like the thick furry fabric covers because the furry stuff gets stuck in the zipper when taking it off or putting it back on after washing. The shorter fuzzy fabric works best. I would like to see a filler that could be washed as well but until that day – these are the best beds. Got this bed for an older 50 lb. dog needing a soft place to lay, also got another 4-5 inch thicker orthopedic bed for her.As soon as we opened and laid this bed out she got on it and didn't get off of it except to go out to the bathroom, then came right back to the bed. It gives a little from her lying on it but I just shake it out to fluff it up. This bed is amazing for so many reasons. My cat doesn't usually take to beds purchased from pet supply stores or big box stores because they smell like other animals, even after several washings. This time I tried buying online and I'm SO GLAD I did! The bed came quickly and was vacuum sealed. Sometimes items that are sealed like this smell of plastic or cleaning solutions, not this bed! It smelled great, fresh and clean. I followed the instructions for fluffing the fibers and tossing it in the dryer for a short tumble. It puffed up just perfectly. My dog loves her new this is a size Medium but there wasn’t that option to select on Influenster. The bed comes just like those beds in a box that expand once you take them out. It says it can take up to 3 days before it’s fully expanded but it seemed to expand completely within an hour or two. The cover is removable to wash. For reference my dog is 23 pounds and a Mini Schnauzer. The bed is perfect for her size.
