I love this gate because it's perfect for containing little dogs (mine is 15 lbs.) and it's easy for me to step over. This is the fourth one I've ordered. I just got a new puppy who isn't house trained, AND he tries to run out the front door every chance he gets. After chasing him through the neighborhood three times, I put one of these gates up between my front door and my screen door. I also put three others at the bedroom thresholds to keep him in the living room until he's house trained. The gates also make my two cats feel safe until they all get along! I can't say enough good things about these Gamma vaults! I have 3 of them… so far. Intend to get a couple more. Two of them are used to hold the chicken feed and one I'm using in my prepper pantry to hold things like flour, rice, pasta, etc. which have all been vacuum sealed into smaller packages. The containers are made of thick, durable plastic and have a gasket on the lid that seals the container. None of my containers are exposed to the weather, so I can't vouch for them being water tight, but they are supposed to be. My guess is that they most likely are and I wouldn't hesitate to try one outside if there was a need for it. All of that being said, these stackable containers are a great addition to the prepper pantry, so don't just stop at using them for pet foods!ravensbeak

I have 2 GSD pups and a 12 yr old GSD/Lab mix. I bought 2 of these b/c they eat different foods and I could stack them. They do no lock together so the top one can slide off. Another problem is that the bottom gets squeezed when the top is full and the lid won't screw closed easily. I thought there was a problem with the bottom one but once I realized what the problem was, I moved them to a shelf, side by side and the lids work much better now but still a bit deformed so the one that was on the bottom isn't as smooth as the one that was on the top. The other issue is that this will not hold 40lbs of dog food. I buy 40lb bags for the GSD pups and it won't fit. I buy 35lb bags for my senior dog and that barely fits in these containers.BC5299

We got this house for a new Boxador puppy so that it can spend most of its time outside. We found it to be a good product. It was easy to put together and does stay much warmer than the outside air. In rainy weather, it stays dry. It is a very large house which would work for a lab or other large dog. No problems with the dog using the door. Only suggestion: add nuts and bolts for the 6 screws. Screwing metal into plastic is not a real good plan. I'm assuming the company will have replacement parts (door, window, etc…) available for my investment!Y Robinson

Remove collar from package, unroll and stretch to activate insecticide generator. As the collar begins to work, a fine white powder will appear on the surface. Do not use on puppies under 6 weeks of age. Do not unroll collar until ready to use. Place the collar around the dog's neck, adjust to proper fit, and buckle in place. The collar must be worn loosely to allow for growth of the dog and to permit the collar to move about the neck. Generally, a property fitted collar is one that, when fastened, will snugly slide over the dog's head. Leave 2 or 3 inches on the collar for extra adjustment and cut off and dispose of extra length. Consult a veterinarian before using this product on debilitated, aged or medicated animals. If used on pregnant or nursing dogs, do not replace collar until puppies are at least 6 weeks old. Sensitivities may occur after using any pesticide product for pets. Some animals may become irritated by any collar if it's applied too tightly. If this occurs, loosen the collar. If irritation continues, remove the collar from the animal. If signs of sensitivity occur, remove the collar and bathe your pet with mild soap and rinse with large amounts of water. If signs continue, consult a veterinarian immediately. I received the collar and opened it to put on my cat. I immediately noticed the pleasant smell of the collar and how soft and flexible the collar was. It went on with ease and was simple to put on. The purple color was a nice contrast as well. The cat is leaving it alone and when I pick her up that light scent was very nice and not over powering. I highly recommend the color for comfort, style and I really like that the effectiveness is for 7 months. Before using the collar I had a situation were my other pet who is a dog woke up one morning and couldn't walk and was in pain. As it turned out he had contracted lymes disease from a tick. He is doing better but was on medication for a month and a very expensive hospital visit for him. My decision was to get collars that I can trust and be confident in. That is why Hartz was the choice for me. It lasts 7 months and I don't have to worry about any of my animals for the season. With it being so easy to put on and having it last long is a bonus. I put this on my 62 pound Pittie the very first day I received it. I did have a little trouble getting the end through the buckles but luckily, my dog is very patient. I haven’t noticed any adverse effects on his skin nor scratching where the collar is. I do have some very tall grass that he likes to run and play in on a regular basis and I typically use some sort of OTC drops from the store. My dogs go to the groomer for their baths every 6 weeks and I was shocked when they told me my german shepherd had a few fleas on him and the groomer informed me that fleas were bad this year because my dogs have never had fleas., so in a rush, I ordered these flea collars and they seem to work but I also use a spray bottle with 1 cup of apple cider vinegar mixed with 2 cups of water and spray it on my hands then rub my dogs down before they go outside in the mornings first of day then I spray their beds a spritz of it and voila!!!! no more fleas!!!!!! I also used the Hartz flea and tick drops which also works along with everything else. I like a clean house and just can't deal with fleas !!! The door itself was nice. Not too difficult to install but not as easy as some that I’ve done. My problem (and the reason for the 2 star review) is the “closing panel” which is not a panel but rather a cover. I assumed that this door cover would work like all other petsafe doors I’ve had which have been great. Because the description says “panel,” that further made me think it was a panel that you slide in like all doors I’ve seen. This is not the case. It’s a snap-on cover that is supposed to clip in on the sides. It comes with one cover that you can put on either the inside or the outside. You will either be able to keep things in or out but not both at the same time. The biggest problem is that depending on your door and placement, the panels in the door can make the alignment to clip it on nearly impossible (see picture). I don’t have any confidence in it so we always have to block the door with something pushed up against the cover. I have a degree in mechanical engineering, so it’s not a lack of intelligence that’s the problem. It’s a poor design for the cover.

Easy enough to install, but their use of nylon bolts is a downside. I understand it is so you can cut the excess away. But it probably wouldn't have cost any more (possibly a tiny bit more) to engineer the door to use metal hardware so it wouldn't strip as easily. The other issue I have is the "security" snap on door. Because it's snap on and not slid in or lockable, both my dogs have been able to push it off from the outside in. And the door is XL so it's big enough for a person to crawl through, so there is absolutely no security from a person entering standpoint. This was dribbling enough water into my utility room during storms that I had to disassemble it to figure out where it was leaking. I couldn't find exactly where it was letting water in, so once I got it reassembled, I caulked the heck out of it and it seems to be okay for now. Taking it apart and reinstalling it was a major hassle. Most of the nylon screws either broke or wouldn't fit all the way back through, after numerous attempts. Seems to be poorly engineered. And the door where it was leaking isn't even facing in the usual direction of the wind/rain, so I don't know why it leaked so badly.TS777

This is probably the best money I have ever spent. I live in GA where it gets HOT in the summer but this is insulated so well and there are no drafts in the winter. My 2 50ish lb dogs burst through this many times each day and it is indestructible. I don't have to play doorman anymore! I had one issue with the lock and they sent me a new lock mechanism right away, but I was able to fix it in about 15 minutes without needing to replace the whole lock anyway. Word to the wise, do not caulk the door on the inside so that you can remove it if/when you need to change the lock. Also, they sell a track system to add on that allows you to slide the security plate on daily/nightly (instead of screwing it on), which is super convenient and a great design.Jennifer R.

I mistakenly bought the Large doghouse for dogs up to 90 lbs. But my 5 month old coonhound was too large for it. I returned it and ordered the X-large doghouse and it is the right size. Unfortunately, the doghouse was broken in two places, probably due to the way you ship. These doghouses are delivered without any protection and will crack or break when sliding into anything. I was looking for a dog house for my two dogs (one 50 lbs the other 60 lbs) to share. I am very happy with this dog house. It's not made out of flimsy wood like a lot of the other houses I looked at. The corrugated ecoflex material is very sturdy and this house is very simple to put together. Each piece is numbered and laying the pieces out in ascending order makes putting this house together a breeze. My dogs fit just fine inside the house and they'll be able to keep each other warm this winter. They are medium sized dogs so they're not very tall, if this house were to be purchased for a large breed the buyer MAY find this house to be too short. ex. A great dane would NOT be able to stand up and turn around in it. I've only had his house for a few weeks so I can not comment on the longevity of this product. The only downfall I've noticed so far is that it does get a little wet on the inside when it rains, I believe they make a plastic flap that can go over the door to help eliminate this problem, I just haven't looked into it yet. I was appalled at how much pet carriers cost in pet supply stores, so I decided to look here, and the price was much better. I have two cats and a large carrier for both of them, but most often they go to the vet one at a time, so I wanted a one-cat carrier. Possibly I should have gotten a size up from this, as it's a rather snug fit for my 10-lb kitty, but it's a lot easier to transport. Unlike my larger carrier, this one requires actual nuts and bolts to hold the top onto the bottom, so it can't be latched open from the top. The door also takes a little jiggling to lock all the way, though it opens in both directions or can be lifted out completely. It's too hard to get a pet in a tiny carrier like this and I don't think it's comfortable for them to not be able to stand. I would not recommend this. I received the collar and opened it to put on my cat. I immediately noticed the pleasant smell of the collar and how soft and flexible the collar was. It went on with ease and was simple to put on. The purple color was a nice contrast as well. The cat is leaving it alone and when I pick her up that light scent was very nice and not over powering. I highly recommend the color for comfort, style and I really like that the effectiveness is for 7 months. Before using the collar I had a situation were my other pet who is a dog woke up one morning and couldn't walk and was in pain. As it turned out he had contracted lymes disease from a tick. He is doing better but was on medication for a month and a very expensive hospital visit for him. My decision was to get collars that I can trust and be confident in. That is why Hartz was the choice for me. It lasts 7 months and I don't have to worry about any of my animals for the season. With it being so easy to put on and having it last long is a bonus. They all smell wonderful and you can be at ease knowing they are protected. I love Hartz Ultra Guard for my cats and my dogs! I have received the Hartz ultra guard collar in exchange for my honest opinion. After using it on my cats for awhile I did buy additional ones for my dogs as well. I bought the Ultra Guard Flea and Tick collar for my two cats. On Wednesday both cats were brought to a professional pet groomer. They came home and were all clean. I put their flea and tick collar on Wednesday evening. My younger cat had no problems. By Saturday our older cat had an allergic response to the collar. All of her skin under the collar was swollen and scabbed. She hadn’t been scratching it. She didn’t have the redness, swelling or scabs any where else on her body.
We treated it like an allergic response and are waiting to see what happens. We trimmed her neck hair, carefully cleaned it, applied an antibiotic ointment with hydrocortisone ointment.Roxann Boysen

This is the Hartz Ultra Guard ProMax Flea Tick collar for puppies dogs 12weeks or over that of which I received in exchange for my honest opinion. I couldn't exactly tag my identical product as it's literally very recently been released.. Overall tho I totally loved this flea collar by Hartz that's absolutely comparable to Soresto! Comes in one size fits all secure dual buckle system that keeps it safely secure for up to 6months of protection! I live in Ohio where fleas ticks are usually only active 4-5 months of the year so that's perfect for my fur babies. It additional offers protection from mosquitoes and prevention of flea eggs from hatching. It offers full body protection as well seems to live up to it's advertising so I'd say 5/5 product from Hartz!
