So disappointing, just everything about it. Our kova plus ottoman was in stock and supposed to arrive in 2 weeks. It kept getting delayed and ended up taking a month, leaving us without a couch for two weeks. You have to schedule a delivery after the item is delivered to wherever, so thatās an additional waiting period. Our couch arrived damaged and customer service has been abysmal. They requested so many photos, as if they thought we had purposefully damaged it. They offered $100 refund for a 7 inch gash that goes all the way into the now broken wooden frame. Either that or a replacement piece where we are responsible to ship back the damaged piece. It was sooo hard to put together, and itās not perfectly together still, but it was the best we could do. Weāre also super disappointed with how uncomfortable the couch is. We expected it to be very soft but the cushions are stiff except the ottoman and slide all over the place. Very nice, and plenty big enough for my 95lb pitbull, even shared with my little english bulldog. That is when she allows him on it.I've added support to bear the extra weight with no problem. We were skeptical to purchase this couch based on the reviews (we didn't see it in person) but went ahead because it was such a great deal for our first apartment. We received our couch in the beginning of July 2020 and it still looks really nice in January 2021. The couch is also incredibly comfortable to lounge and sleep on, though it is not very deep. It is chenille, which I didn't realize, but it looks very nice and has held up well to our two new kittens climbing all over it and trying to use it as a scratcher. I would say that the color is true to the listing photos. It is long enough to fit three grown men comfortably or four adults squeezed in. My three small complaints: Wish it was just two or three inches deeper. Wish the arm rests were just a few inches higher, they aren't very good for leaning on. I would not recommend buying this sofa for everyday use or if anyone in your family weighs over 170lbs because itās not going to hold up. Last night my son comes over for dinner and sits down with a hot plate of food to watch a show (I was on the chair) and we hear a very loud crack the second he sits down. He weighs 170 max and did not plop down. Something inside of the couch broke. Now it sinks in and sounds terrible every time you move on the right side. The cushions had a crunch to them from the beginning so I was already disappointed. Now Iām furious. Itās barely 2 mo old! It looks nice and the material is very soft to the touch but other than that I donāt really have anything good to say. my last couch was from big lots and it lasted at least five years. I hope AFW makes this right.Beth

This is a beautiful sofa, well made, came in about three weeks, extremely comfortable and stands up to all sorts of trouble including stains and my golden retriever and her friends scratching it. I never write reviews but felt remiss not to come say this. It's not just nice for its reasonable price, it's nicer than sofas I've owned that were twice as much. I'm really enjoying this couch. At a time when quality furniture has long wait times, finding a modern couch quickly was proving difficult. Target to the rescue! The piece is heavy and long with a tight weave for the fabric. Having a cat has not been an issue:) Beware that delivery is only to the door, but it is boxed well. I happened to be home so I opened the garage for the men to at least set it inside. Thank you Poly & Bark for a beautiful design that is holding up well šElle
I purchased this couch in October of 2020. We love the style, the material and the overall look. The back of the couch takes a bit of getting use to if you have always had a couch with a higher back. I have several throw pillows and my couch is against the wall. If you want to lean your head back we put a cushion between us and the wall. The couch is deep which makes sitting cross-legged very comfortable. It is long enough that you can turn to have conversations with others on the couch. You don't have to sit looking forward all the time. Three adults fit on here easily. The arms of the couch are wide and low enough to lean against. I also love the fact that the seat cushion is one long cushion. Nothing will be falling into the cracks. The biggest con of this couch is the feathers. The two throw pillows that come with the couch have feathers as well as the bottom cushion. Periodically, I have to pluck the feathers that are half in-half out of the couch. Also, be aware the couch sits low. We looked at the specs, we knew it was lower, but until you sit on it, it is a bit surprising how low it actually is. I would give this couch 5 stars but the plucking of the feathers is a bit annoying. Please, don't misunderstand, it is not an enormous amount of feathers. I say I have pulled about 10 since October but I really did not think I would have to worry about feathers coming out. And one other thing, if you have asthma or allergies, be aware of the feathers. My niece came over, she sat on the couch, and her asthma was set off. As far as packaging, delivery and service, Poly & Bark was great. The company that delivered our sofa was efficient and called us a few times to let us know the status of our delivery. I would purchase from Poly & Bark again.Angela L.

I want to start by saying I read the reviews and took my chances and you are getting what you pay for. I bought 2 of these couches in black. There were no problems with the shipping they came in the time promised. The couches themselves serve the purpose to have something to sit on but if you are looking for something big and cozy this is not it. The pieces just slide together there is no screws or locking. Literally just some metal pieces that slide into eachother. One of the couches came without a scratch the other a small rip on one of the corner cushions. All in all for $250 not bad but I doubt they will hold up for a long period of time especially if they are being used roughly like being jumped on by kids. Also the couch itself is a bit smaller than I expected, not tiny but the cushions are not very deep and the back rest only comes to about the bottom of my shoulder blades.Rebecca
I was a bit nervous purchasing a couch online without having seen it or being able to test it out in person. I should have trusted my gut. This couch looks nice in the pictures and upon arriving, was in perfect condition. Unfortunately, once the couch was put together, the cushions were quite hard. I figured it would just be something that needed to be broken into so I didn't mind that. The main issue is….just now, my partner and I sat on the couch and it proceeded to fall to the side suddenly. Upon closer inspection, the wooden part that holds the legs in together had somehow split apart. Now it can't stabilize itself and basically we are out 1 leg. We had to take all of them off to make the couch even so it's really low to the floor. My partner and I are small women so there is no way in hecc that this happened because we were too heavy or sat on it too hard. I have had the couch set up for 6 days….not even a week! I'm super disappointed with this purchase and can't wait to return it so I can get an L shaped couch like I originally wanted. I think it's worth it to spend a bit more money on better quality products. I should've known with Walmart. Love it for groceries and household products but NOT furnitureAlexandra
I ordered this couch mainly because of the low cost but I understand the pricing for it now (although I have seen the same one at a few other stores now over a hundred dollars more which blows my mind). Despite it being a nice looking couch with the microfiber and contemporary style, the back 100% cannot be locked into place, resulting in a backing that literally wobbles back and forth as well as up and down because the seat cushions push it back up whenever you try to push it down. My boyfriend (a lot stronger than I am) put a lot of effort into trying to lock the "interlocking" metal plates into place but they don't actually lock. They would have to be drilled together to get it to stay. I believe the low cost reflects the poor design of this product and do not recommend buying. It looks nice, you just can't expect to use it comfortably!organizedbones

Decent couch. My biggest complaint is the back is not high enough. The back is not the normal size of most couches. Iām 5 ft 7 ins and while sitting it probably is mid belly height. It does not reach my shoulder blades (and the cushions are about 6 inches above the back base). Also, it would be nice to have Velcro on the seat cushions and back pillows to orevent them from moving/sliding (the arm rests have Velcro and a zipper to keep them in place). I thought I could just manage however I am going to look into returning. Hopefully Iām not stuck with it. Otherwise, I like the couchAyesha
