Our 8 week old puppy took to this immediately. We live in a condo so we needed a solution to let our puppy ***** safely before she's fully vaccinated. There's no "Safe space" outside where we can take her that other dogs wouldn't have gone already. I had no idea if it would be hard initially to get her used to it, but we plopped her down on it as soon as we brought her home and she went *** right away. We had to re-direct her a couple of times during the **** sniff, but after a few times she knew this was her ***** spot. OMG!!! What a life saver! The package comes well packed and always delivered on time. I get the XLarge because I have two shih tzus and they can both walk around and use it at the same time. We’ve been Doggie Lawn users since Fall 2019, so this review is LONG overdue. We live in a mid-rise in a large city and getting out via the freight elevator and around the block for a 2-second potty break isn’t always an appealing option, especially when it’s raining, sleeting, snowing or so windy it will rip the hat off your head. We trained our puppy to use his grass patch when he was young and haven’t looked back. We simply put him on the grass and would turn him around if he tried to wander off, repeatedly using the “go potty” command. He got the hang of it within three days. We have the XL delivered every 2 weeks for our mini poodle and it’s been a great upgrade from the L, which used to get a little stinky between changes in the hot months. Changing out the patches is a cinch because each box comes with plastic gloves and the new latch is rolled in a plastic bag you can dispose of your old lawn in. We’ve had a couple “faulty” patches (moldy/extremely muddy) but DL customer service took care of everything right away.Andrew H.

These pads are great! Our little pups tend to want to commandeer the paper pee pads so I don’t know where we’d be without these to cover the floor of their pen. It also makes a nice soft but firm space for them to romp play sleep and slosh water when they drink. Only thing is, OUR little pups also like to find a spot to rip and tear but then they are terriers. Even with a hole or two these wash well and I’ve no doubt they’ll last years. A couple of weeks ago I bought the small petloo for indoors when it rains, my girl hates the rain, and the large one is a strughle to get inside once the rain has started. The grass is not as soft or durable as the the grass on the large one I put out on the balcony and my dog won't use it which means we get accidents indoors when it's raining. It seemed like an amazing idea! Put it together, dog used it fine and everyone was happy! Then realized the drain doesn't work very well, and left the grass flooded. Had to pull the grass up in order for the drain to drain. Then, after about the 4th or 5th use, the tray fell through. My dog is smaller than a lab, right around our just less than 40lbs. She doesn't like stepping on flooded grass or using it when it's not stable and falls through the middle. Please reinforce the base. Unfortunately there are no guidelines on how to set up the hose system in the premium so now I have a premium potty that I only use basically. When I tried my hose water went everywhere. Tried to get support but still waiting for someone to return my email. Such a shame. The pipe that leads the overflow away also leaks. Such a great idea but cheap make. Could be so much better with proper fittings instead of cheap plastic.Kasia F
I tried for six weeks to train my dog to use this. He HATES it. I bought and tried to cancel a $43 grass mat which I placed next to this and he was fine using IT. But despite a few successes manipulated with treats and the subsequent realization that this product will reek of urine despite the marketing BS, my dog only relented to using it under duress. I would never recommend this. I wasted $300 myself, don't do the same. I spoke to no fewer than seven people who'd done the same. This marketer is definitely cherry picking their metrics.Lara H
