I have wasted so much money on dog beds, from PetSmart to Costco to TJMaxx, etc. Our Goldendoodle would flip them over and rip the stuffing out – basically treating them as toys. She even demolished a Kong bed as a puppy. The Snoozer Overstuffed Luxury Dog Sofa was sort of a gamble for us, but I hated having her sleep on our hardwood floor with only a blanket. When the box arrived, I was first impressed with the heft and material of the bed. The seams are well-stitched and the actual bed is super heavy and sturdy. Here we are, a month later, and it still looks plush and brand new. Our Goldendoodle would never be able to flip this plush bed. She snuggles in it throughout the day. My two boys can both fit in it with her, as well, and it has become a favorite spot for all 3 of them. Excellent purchase. Ordered the XL which is supposed to be 54 inches at it’s widest width on outside edges of bed. It actually measured at 47 inches at widest section measuring outside edges. It was too small for our XL senior dog whom stretches completely out when lying down. Disappointed. Stitching was also already unraveling. However material quality was very good. My reviews are mixed. This is a HORRIBLE design. It comes unassembled and you have to assemble. Which means you need to push in the arms of the couch inside the case. Horrible design because the zipper doesn't wrap around the sides which means you are trying to push the stuffing into an impossible space. I am sweating and it's taken me 30 minutes and I still can't stuff the stuffing in. It's a two person job. It's like trying to restring the string in your pull spring hoodie that fell out after you washed it. Do you know what that's like? Trying to push the string into a hoodie? After purchasing and returning several greatly inferior brands, I finally broke down and purchased my second of these. Pricy, but they last a lifetime. (My original is at least 10 years old, has been washed countless times, and is still great!) These are the only thick and comfortable dog beds I have ever found. My two English Springer Spaniels sleep comfortably together in a size large. You need some minimal strength and agility to assemble them, but it's not as difficult as some reviewers have suggested. The assembly of this dog couch is way too difficult. It is almost impossible to get the bolsters in their "channels", and then to get the main mattress inserted is also a challenge. I'm on the floor for 45 minutes wrestling with this thing, and exhausted when I'm done. I dread every time it needs to be washed. I did just see some replies from LL Bean that suggests turning the cover inside out to insert the bolsters. I'm waiting now for the thing to dry, having just washed it. I'll try the inside-out suggestion, but it will still be difficult to get the main mattress back in. Given that there are so many other reviews of this product that comment on the difficult assembly, has LL Bean looked into re-designing this product? To make it easier to get the bolster pads and main mattress in and out of the cover, perhaps a more complete zipper opening would help? The website did not show a Proposition 65 Cancer Warning. It was in a label on the BOTTOM of the dog bed. Luckily, I saw it immediately when I inspected it. It is not PETCO's fault–the manufacturer should have notified PETCO and then I am sure they would put the warning in the ad, but, SERIOUSLY? Who would love their darling pet enough to buy them a $100 dog bed if they knew it came with a cancer warning. I wish stores would stop carrying these items, but, it would be hard because it is in so many things… This dog bed is going back to the store tomorrow, for sure. And it is a shame because it was adorable–I loved it…but I love my dog more!Donna77642

I have ordered MANY dog beds in my lifetime but this one is the WORST one of all!! Why? The top "zip in" filler for the "armrest" is impossible to completely insert. I have YET to completely zip it in without nearly losing my breath because of the tugging, pulling, stretching, while TRYING to move the zipper! I thought I was in pretty good shape but putting in this armrest filler role is horrible. I would suggest the manufacturer use LESS filler or something but I would NEVER recommend this dog bed. To think I paid this much for TORTURE …..Linda
Researched many dog beds before deciding on this one. We were using a round dog bed without bolsters and when at a friends she wouldn't get out of their bed with bolsters so knew we needed this style. The Memory foam is firm without being rock hard; soft fabric. I have a 65 lb golden retriever and the large (36×28) is perfect. Inside width about 28". We have owed this about a month .. she loved it immediately. Price has increased since we bought it but would still buy it again.murph

I have had to return twice so to lack of care in how they package and deliver this exquisite looking dog bed. Working great so far, only had it a couple of weeks though. I have a Little Newfie and a 60lb. mixed breed. Either they haven't tried or they cannot get it off from the couch and chair. The ends tuck in between the side and end cushion. Seems to me made pretty sturdy. It's not the prettiest thing sitting on the couch, but it's nice that it hides so easily. We saved a beautiful longhair German Shepherd from potentially being put down because the owner had developed allergies to him. They, unfortunately, allowed him to sleep on their sofa. We had tried for two years to break him of the habit. Mouse snap traps worked for a while, until he learned how to trip them. Repellents are worthless. We were having to barricade him in another part of the house, which was less than desirable. We bought the couch and chair Defenders and they have worked perfectly so far. LOVE this bed, this is actually a replacement bed. The first bed was a couple years old and very stinky. When I returned from vacation, and dogs (2 English Setters) from the kennel, I refused to bring it in the house. I bought two other beds (different brand) to replace it. My male setter was soooooo mad at me. I surprised him last weekend with this identical bed _ he was so excited and is now sleeping happily. As a matter of fact this morning both setters were in it together! (plus the rust/brown color matches their spots!).
The only bed my dog will use. Bought this exact bed about two years ago, have tried many others since tossing the old one. Bought this and suddenly it s her SPOT. \n\nLove that we can take it fully apart and wash the cover! I even washed the bolster stuffing on gently cycle once and it was totally fine. \nNala is an 80lb chow husky mix and she prefers the jumbo size
Extremely light weight for its size (med). Thin egg crate foam inside. The furry mattress cover is already getting shredded. My beagle scratches at the bed the way dogs do and bits of the furry material gets everywhere! Like someone shook out the dryer lint catcher all over the room. \nI will be covering that section of material with something sturdier. I certainly wouldn t pay more than I did through groupon.

I suppose it is non-slip if nothing sits on the couch, but I have to constantly readjust it back into position after anyone (human or dog) sits on it. And it does not cover as nicely as the picture if you have a larger sofa. The seat width of my sofas are 66" and 60" not including the rolled arms. The cover is comfortable and soft but it is a pain to keep in place. Luckily I bought them on sale, but I will be looking for something better to replace them.kmom
Constantly slides off the fabric couch that it's on. The non slip feature is next to useless. Much thinner than I expected it to be. The cover I bought it to replace, (made by the same company, which I thought from the description, was essentially the same cover,) was much heavier than this one, but got shredded by my two Golden Retrievers, so I hold small hope that this cover will hold up. It is a good fit for the couch, until you sit on it, then it pulls off of the arms and the back pulls down. It does wash up well. If you don't need a heavy duty cover, and don't sit on the couch much, then it's a good product.sfarrell1007
First of all, to my surprise it wasn't green at all. It's a light sea blue, but I'm ECSTATIC because it matches the theme of my blue & white room! It's resting over my large couch to catch stray pet hairs–they love this couch for some reason. The quilting makes it easy to see every hair and vacuum them right away. I love this cover.
