This is a well made dog bed. Easy to put together, very comfortable for my dog, stays cleaner than other dog beds, easy to remove and wash. I have a labrador retriever and initially got the large size, but exchanged it for the jumbo. The large size was a good size, but upon watching him sleep, i found out he likes to stretch out. Yes the jumbo size is very large and requires a lot of space in your room, but it is worth it to see him stretch out or curled up in his very comfy bed. A little pricey but he is worth it. I tried other beds and they are of inferior quality and won't last long. I highly recommend it. For your reference my dog is about 73 Lbs and measured 40 inches when laying down and lightly curled. Two dogs could fit in the jumbo bed if they decide to curl and lay next to each other. But not for stretching in a hot summer evening.Love Labradors 2
My 13 year old Lab was going for spirited 2 mile walks 4 months ago but alas, age it seems has finally caught up with my dearest and closest friend. His hips and knees have been noticeably troubling him, especially in the morning after a long sleep. He’s always had doggy beds but now more than ever I want him to be as comfortable as possible. This bed is FANTASTIC and my good boy loves it! He is 74 lbs but tall and lanky. The large measurements were too small for him, if you look in the picture the golden retriever in the large has zero room to stretch out. I am so glad I went with the XL. Zia is a 1 year old blue heeler and we've been searching for a bed that she wouldn't be able to tear through. At the price of these Casper beds, we figured this would be rugged and made well enough to stand against the teeth of a puppy. At first she loved the bed, and we trained her to go to her "spot" on the bed within a couple of days. Then one day I turned my back on her for 10 minutes and she had chewed a hole through the corner of the cover. The cushion was showing underneath, and I noticed this before she could eat the stuffing. With Casper's customer service being of such a high standard, I figured they would at least send us a replacement cover, but no such luck as this was a wedding gift to us (and they wouldn't make an exception in any case). Unfortunately if you have a pup that is teething, you'll have to hold off on a bed like this (unless you have your eyes on them).Zia
I purchased this dog bed about 5 years ago for my dog after a surgery and it was great but it eventually started falling apart so I recently purchased a new one. Upon arrival, I immediately realized that the quality was not as high as the previous version – the foam seemed cheaper and not as sturdy but seemed ok so we kept it. The main issue is the fabric that is used – it's also different and almost feels like vinyl or something and when our dog is sleeping and dreaming, he starts kicking his legs and the noise his legs make when rubbing against the fabric is SO LOUD. It is loud enough that it was constantly waking us up throughout the night so we eventually moved his bed out of the bedroom. I talked to support and they said I was outside of the 30 day return period and could do nothing. I recommend not spending hundreds of dollars on a cheap product with poor customer support.Nolan
We purchased the large bed for our dog about 1.5 – 2 years ago. Having laid on it myself (it's HUGE), I can say that the foam padding inside is comfortable but our dog never really took to it so it became his secondary bed in the house. He will nest occasionally but is not an aggressive digger by any means. So since this bed saw much less (and moderately gentle) use, it was a little surprising that we started noticing a small hole forming at one of the seams about a year after we bought it. Today there are so many large holes, again all at the seams, that can't put off replacing the cover any longer. This is particularly disappointing since the second bed we bought from a different manufacturer (which sees considerably more use) at about the same time is holding up much better. What is even more disappointing is that the limited warranty offered for the mattresses doesn't seem to extend to the dog beds despite the high price tag. They choose not to publish the cost of replacing the covers on the website so I had to get them from the customer service team. It could be possible that we got a defective product but, to our eyes, it looked perfectly normal when we received it and didn't start to show issues until the return period had ended. So, for any potential buyers, just be aware that you may be shelling out an additional $125.00 (large bed), $75.00 (medium bed), or $60.00 (small bed) when your cover falls apart in 12-18 months. My dog's favorite bed out of 10 and looks great wherever I place it. I bought a large and it's perfect. She is about 14 years old and it's not only great for resting, but she can jump off the bed onto it with minimal pain on her back, arthritic paws. These beds are not great, they're AMAZING….. They are literally the best purchase you can make as far as a dog's bed. Unless your dog just destroys their beds, these are perfect. You can wash them whenever you want, they're comfortable, my dogs absolutely love them. I have two black labs and a white German Shepherd, So I have all kinds of hair everywhere. And these beds catch a lot of that hair. It's awesome that I can go outside, shake them out, and then throw them in the washer and they're done. Over the years I've bought a lot of beds for my dogs, a lot of them tend to wear out over time, my younger black lab likes to chew on them and tear them up. But he does not do that with these beds for whatever reason. So after all the 30 and 40 and $50 beds I've bought over the years, don't hold a candle to the paw.com beds. You can wash the outside of the bed fan but the inside is a paper bag filled with chopped up foam that can't be washed. i dont about everyione but I'll bet there goes outside and gets stinky. why would you sell a bed without a serviceable liner in it. I am thinking about throwing the inside bag away and buying another bed from a dufferent company that i can put inside that can be washed. This probably isn’t the review you’d expect, but my daughter LOVES this bed. When she was a few months old, we went on a family vacation and in lieu of spending $180 for a DockATot, we purchased this instead. This bed has literally been her obsession since that trip. Any time she sees it (even when I bring it downstairs to wash), she starts panting like a dog and rushes over to try and lay on it. We used it past the vacation and put it into her crib at home. She’s 20 months old now, and we’re trying to transition her to a toddler bed, but she keeps tossing and turning all night because she loves this dang dog bed so much and her regular toddler mattress just isn’t good enough for her. I came here to figure out what the minky fabric is that covers this darn bed so I can buy a fitted sheet of the same/similar texture to try and appease her and figured I would leave a review while I was here. I got one of these beds (36” XL) for my pup who has separation anxiety. When she isn’t sleeping in bed with me, she is snuggled into her faux fur bed. I brought it to my parent’s place when I had a trip and, surprisingly to all of us, my dad’s 10 yr old Anatolian Shepard Mix (who was born in a cave in Afghanistan) fell in love with it. This dog does not like any type of comfort. Beds, toys, treats… she has never shown any interest in anything my dad has given her. This has to be the best dog bed I have ever purchased. My dog plays toss with it. My baby also hides his toys and bones in it and He sleeps in it. It is super soft and furry. I do not recommend washing no matter ehat the instructions state but spot clean it as needed. I have never seen a pet bed washed that comes out like it went in. The bottom is not very cushy but decent. We have a 55-60 lb dog and the 30×30 is way too big to be comfy but the next size smaller was cramped. I thought the fluffy fabric would be thicker but it is a bit thin for my taste. It does seem to be well constructed though. Do not stick this size in a large home dryer as it is too big and the heat will matte the fluffy strands (almost like melting) from the heat because it cannot move around enough. Not as nice as I was expecting, but an okay dog bed–the "orthopedic" model really is just an eggshell material and not very thick at all. I think the dimensions are also slightly smaller than advertised–I measured my dogs kennel before hand and was worried the bed would be an inch too large, but it's actually at least 2 inches shorter than the kennel. It’s one of those thin foam egg crates you put over a mattress. Not real, modern memory foam pad. The egg crate doesn’t even fill the Upholstery. I didn’t give it 5 stars because it’s more of a pancake with a thin lip encircling it rather than a donut, and the lip isn’t much higher than the middle. The advertised pictures show a dog sunken into the middle and encompassed by the outer “donut” rim but when my 30 lb. Whippet/Terrier mix lays down it’s more like she’s sitting on it rather than in it. However she doesn’t seem to mind and obviously being a dog, she doesn’t know it was supposed to be any other way. I’m not complaining, since she seems to like it, but just wanted others to know it’s not exactly what they advertise.Dog Mama
The 1st one I received I had taken out of the box, fluffed and it seemed to flatten like in a day or two. Not a snuggle bed plus it did not look like the picture. The 2nd one arrived and this one weighed so much more (probably twice the amount) and was stuffed a lot better which made it look like the picture. This dog bed is great! I got the 28×28 and it is perfect for my 10lb Shihtzu. I’m so glad I didn’t get the smallest size because it would be way to small. So unless your dog is really tiny, don’t get the smallest one. My dog is enjoying his bed, he can prop is head on it and it’s so soft (but more firm on the bottom, which I like). The crate itself is good quality. I had a some trouble installing the garage style door. Make sure you install the top before the bottom. It took me like an hour to figure it out. The large crate is huge and it will fit a standard full grown size Goldendoodle. The reason why I gave it 3 stars is because the preorder took about 3 months to arrive. I had to buy a temporary crate for the meantime. I ordered the white and it is very nice. Also, for the price, they should have included the bed with the crate. It is way too expensive! Bought the bed as well, but it would have been nice to have the bed included when buying the crate.Erika M.
This is a fantastic crate pad! The ONLY reason I knock off one star is the fact that you can't buy replacement covers. I wish you could. Otherwise, it cleans so easily and dries pretty fast which is invaluable considering other pet items I have that are air dry only take over 12 hours in an apartment setting. Not this though! I've only had one instance in almost 6 months where the cover was soaked though and I sprayed the dog spray I had on the foam insert cover. That resolved the issue which was nice though there is still a stain but that's no problem. In spite of the cover replacement issue (I just have some frayed corners), I strongly recommend this product!Taylor
I will admit I gave in and paid the hefty price tag to get a perfect fit for my dogs revol cage and turns out it does not fit perfectly. it can be slid around inside and if any spills happen water WILL get through the cover. Not only is it pricey but when you go to wash the covers it’s almost IMPOSSIBLE to get the cover back on. Why could it not be any more simple? Also the pad itself STINKS SO BAD. It gives off a terrible chemical smell and I left it outside to air out for two days and the smell is still there. I washed the covers twice and the pad still makes the pad smell so bad like chemicals. Definitely not worth it.Alex

I got a bigger one for my dog and it's the same feel and quality as this little one I got for when his little friend comes over. Very good for elderly dogs, but I would get this for a younger dog as well because it would help prevent joint problems early on. My dog laid on this as soon as I put it down which is shocking. He is so neurotic & has OCD tendencies. He usually rips & tears everything so I had to stop spending money on beds & just buy a collection of blankets, which are cheaper to replace. I bought the large size & it is huge! I have an 85lb Lab mix & he looks lost in it! This is great for him because he loves to stretch out & he has had a recent back problem & the beginning of hip dysplasia. I was worried that the bed might be too small for our dog, but when she wants to stretch out, the sides are soft enough that they just fold down. She loves curling up tightly in it or resting her head on the edge. She's spent more time in this bed than any I've own previously. Great price for a great bed. Highly recommended. The inside is quite textured, so I'm not sure how easy it will be to clean, but the inside is a beige color so I don't think it'll show dirt too badly.SR
We have a senior cat that has been having a hard time this winter, and wanted something that wasn't a fire risk but worked to keep him warmer than just a regular blanket. This works!! Okay, this has the weirdest feel ever. Like, soft yet sticks to your hands if you have any dry skin. I use this in my dogs crate and it's a weird perfect fit. The sides do NOT stay up, becomes a sort of flat bed if it's not propped in a corner. Other than that, it is so. hard. to. clean! You need to wash the entire thing for one accident and the inside corners are so hard to get to. Overall, not bad enough to return, but not good enough to buy again.K

We were looking for a slim, affordable bed to replace the oversized plush bed currently in the dogs crate. This fit the bill. Except, it has 4 elastics underneath that are a natural attractant for a puppy and the bed itself sheds constantly. Fluff all over the carpet, crate and dog. I have read reviews on the thinness of the bottom pad. I am assuming because this is more of crate bolster than a free-standing bolster "bed". My little gal doesn't spend much time in her crate….more for night and sleeping time at this training stage of her life. It is SO soft. Label cleaning directions say not to wash with an agitator machine, but I just did since that's the type of machine I have. It's fine. Yay!. Got this bed for an older 50 lb. dog needing a soft place to lay, also got another 4-5 inch thicker orthopedic bed for her.As soon as we opened and laid this bed out she got on it and didn't get off of it except to go out to the bathroom, then came right back to the bed. It gives a little from her lying on it but I just shake it out to fluff it up. Its not real thick about 2 inches but soft and she seems to like it better than the sheepskin rug she use to sleep on.She rotates from this to the thicker bed, but I think this one gets a little more use.All in all a good bed that is easy to throw in the washing machine, soft and good neutral color. Our dog went through a phase of trying to come into our bed almost every hour during the night but since we got the snoozer, he has been staying there till morning again! It takes a little persuasion to get him in there but once he’s in and cosy, he settles in! He’s a small Jack Russell sized dog (8kg) so we went for the Large based on the reviews of the small being quite small – he likes to sprawl! It works but would have opted for a Medium size if there was the option as it does take up a lot of space… worth it for a good nights sleep though! I have the non orthopaedic bed which has a thicker mattress , I was disappointed with the mattress of the more expensive orthopaedic bed so emailed Snoozer to return the item with the intention of reordering . I have returned the bed which costs £14 as it is a stipulation of snoozer to send it via recorded mail, I’ve emailed them on two separate occasions to ask if they have received the bed and about my refund but no response. However I am getting emails frequently to leave a review!? I would like a refund in a much better customer centred way as these products are lovely but expensive and the customer care doesn’t seem to reflect the company imagesarah T
This is the second Cozy Cave I have purchased, the original is 4 years old now and still as good as new but I have 2 chihuahuas who both love it and, although they can both fit in it, my little girl isn’t fond of sharing! Now they have one each. I have purchased other brands of snuggle beds which get some use but the Cosy Cave is the favourite, used on a daily basis. It was obvious it had been returned by someone else, because the loops that attach the cushion to the bed, weren't fastened. The cushion was smaller than the area it should be placed. My dogs love the Bowsers Diamond Series Microvelvet Donut Dog Bed (Large). Our intent was to have one dog sleep in this bed, but often our two Boxers both use it at the same time! Our dogs used to sleep in our bed and now they prefer to sleep in their dog bed in our bedroom. Thanks to the Bowsers donut dog bed, we are all getting a better night's sleep! We have owned this bed for a few years and it has held up fantastically. The cover is easy to remove and wash. Previously, I've purchased pillow dog beds. My dogs now prefer the donut style since they can rest their backs against the bolster or place their heads on top of the bolster. We usually put a blanket in the bed as well so they have it to snuggle with. Bowsers offers so many patterns, which makes it easy to find one to coordinate with your home décor. Bowser makes good quality pet products. We already had one of these and bought a second so both dogs could have their own in the bedroom. The one we've had for a couple of years has held up fairly well, but you can see that the bottom is less cushy than the new bed. The bed is relatively easy to wash. I remove the cushion from the bolster prior to throwing it in the washer. Getting the bolster back in was a little tricky the first couple of times, but you get the hang of it. Have to stuff it as far into the corners as you can, and then start zipping it up, pushing the cushion in as you go.skareht

Great concept, but not sturdy. Bottom started to rip in the middle from the weight of a medium sized 8 month old Australian Shepherd. Then he began to get himself tangled in the top, so that had to be removed and it was tearing at the seam. It seemed like he was too big for it. The cat had done well with it before I have ot to the dog that was kept outside. Shouldn't give it to a rambunctious puppy.Barbara G.
This is my 2nd bed. The first one succumbed to the weather after a couple of years. The fabric of the shade canopy ripped to shreds first, but we continued to use the bed for another summer until a heavy child tried to stand on it and his leg went through. As lightweight and easy to move the bed is, though, I didn’t expect it to last forever, and I purchased a new one as soon as the large size version was restocked. I can’t get my old severely arthritic and stubborn bulldog to use it, but she’s happy to stay inside when I work outside. My mama’s boy pug insists on being with me wherever I am, and he absolutely loves the bed and it helps him with the heat. I know he doesn’t really need this huge one, but I still have hopes that the much larger bulldog will try it sometime. We have the jumbo plus at home, our lab has plenty of room for lounging around with her toys. Then we started traveling and she now has a jumbo for our Jeep/hotel rooms. I had been looking for a large dog bed for a while and saw this giant bed for our Bernese Mountain dog, who liles to stretch out when he lies down, but would hang over the sides of his old beds because they were never quite wide enough! I purchased the dog bed because 1) it would look good in my home and 2) my dog loves fluffy beds. I ordered the small bed and my French Bulldog fits perfectly. He curled up in it right out of the box! My dog tends to lay out over the edge, although there is plenty of room inside to curl up. For that reason, the sides aren't as upright as pictured on the website. I washed it twice and it held up wonderfully. I am hoping this bed lasts him a long time. I regret not buying the matching blanket for the bed. In the winter my Frenchie likes to lay down in the bed and be covered up with a blanket. I will likely be ordering the matching blanket to complete the set. This is a great bed. I would like to see how it holds up a year from now and do another review. Another thing, my Frenchie prefers this bed over the orthopedic bed purchased from a leading company ($200). It is just his preference and every dog is different. I am glad he likes the bed.
