My dog loves her new this is a size Medium but there wasn’t that option to select on Influenster. The bed comes just like those beds in a box that expand once you take them out. It says it can take up to 3 days before it’s fully expanded but it seemed to expand completely within an hour or two. The cover is removable to wash. For reference my dog is 23 pounds and a Mini Schnauzer. The bed is perfect for her size. This is a well made dog bed. Easy to put together, very comfortable for my dog, stays cleaner than other dog beds, easy to remove and wash. I have a labrador retriever and initially got the large size, but exchanged it for the jumbo. The large size was a good size, but upon watching him sleep, i found out he likes to stretch out. Yes the jumbo size is very large and requires a lot of space in your room, but it is worth it to see him stretch out or curled up in his very comfy bed. A little pricey but he is worth it. I tried other beds and they are of inferior quality and won't last long. I highly recommend it. For your reference my dog is about 73 Lbs and measured 40 inches when laying down and lightly curled. Two dogs could fit in the jumbo bed if they decide to curl and lay next to each other. But not for stretching in a hot summer evening.Love Labradors 2
My 13 year old Lab was going for spirited 2 mile walks 4 months ago but alas, age it seems has finally caught up with my dearest and closest friend. There's two main things I look for in things for my dog: 1) durability and 2) washability. Since my dog is still a puppy, I know he'll probably chew on this or scratch it up a bit (let's face it–dogs chew on things), but I think it will be just as durable or more than other pet beds. Since there's actually two covers–the removable, washable cover and than an inner pillow-like cover, I can spray the inner cover with bitter apple spray and that will help deter chewing. As for my second must-have, this has an easily removable outer cover that is machine washable and dryer safe. Nice! As for comfort, this bed can't be beat. The large size is big enough for my toddler to take a nap on, and would make a good camping mattress if you don't have pets. So overall, I'd say this is a versatile, durable, cleanable mattress that I'd highly recommend.Lisa
The shredded memory foam pet bed was tightly packaged for distribution and so it was quite compressed when I first removed it from the plastic bag. It quickly expanded to the size described. The dimensions of the pet bed are 46 inches by 28 inches as indicated and the top measures about 5 inches from the floor when not compacted. Our dog is a very large breed, so I wasn’t certain that this bed would accommodate her. She extends over the edges when she stretches out, but it is adequate for her usual sleep positions and she appears to be comfortable. It is flat, without any ridges, as pictured. The shredded memory foam fill is encased in material that is sewn into four compartments so the memory foam does not bunch up. The outer cover seems sturdy and has a zipper so it can easily be removed for laundering. The top of the cover is soft and suede-like while the fabric on the bottom feels like the outer layer of a sleeping bag. I do not detect any of the odors of the memory foam when the outer cover is on. The colors are neutral and should work well with most color schemes. The shredded memory foam makes the pet bed very flexible. It is simple to fold it up for storage when not in use or to take along for travel. I let my teen-age children try it out when I first brought it home. They campaigned strongly to designate it as the family TV pillow rather than the pet bed. We have two 74 lb greyhounds and we purchased this bed to try out in one of their crates and plan to buy a second if it works out. My labrador loves these. The outside covers are washable. I have hung the covers to dry and they dry fast since microfiber does. I have also hosed down the foam. That takes longer to dry in the shade since most foams don't like direct sunlight. But it works. Eventually she digs a hole in the cover so I flip the foam inside and used the bottom on the top. I got this for our 9yo GSD who has until now always just considered a folded blanket his "bed". He wouldn't lay on anything the slightest bit pillowy or fluffy. I did have to coax him onto it the first time, but right away after that he started going and laying down there on his own, even when we were in another room (he usually just wants to hang with us). I absolutely LOVE how this bed looks! The sizing chart was pretty spot-on (I know it's hard to offer dimensions on something that's not perfectly rectangular). My dog loves it and uses it all the time, but I wonder how many dogs would be wary of it since it makes "crackly" noises when they walk on it. It's easy to vacuum, too, which is huge in my book. It's very lightweight, which is fine, except if I didn't have it wedged up against a chair (on a rug) it would slide all over. My old girl is 13, and drags her feet, so when she'd try to get on it, it'd move and shift, so I moved it to a place where it will stay put for her. In some of the images online it shows the bed on hard floors; that bed wouldn't stay put for 2 seconds! Also, and this isn't the bed's fault: since I got the cowhide version, that means my oily German shepherd leaves oil marks on the white parts, so of course it needs to be washed far more often than someone without an oily-furred dog (e.g., my parents' golden). I have ordered MANY dog beds in my lifetime but this one is the WORST one of all!! Why? The top "zip in" filler for the "armrest" is impossible to completely insert. I have YET to completely zip it in without nearly losing my breath because of the tugging, pulling, stretching, while TRYING to move the zipper! I thought I was in pretty good shape but putting in this armrest filler role is horrible. I would suggest the manufacturer use LESS filler or something but I would NEVER recommend this dog bed. Researched many dog beds before deciding on this one. We were using a round dog bed without bolsters and when at a friends she wouldn't get out of their bed with bolsters so knew we needed this style. Perfect size for our 95 pound Golden Retriever. The outer fabric is denim and very durable and washable. Inner waterproof liner protects memory foam. Our dog is very rough on her beds…she likes to pick up and shake and toss her beds around. This bed is heavy and not easily tossed. I think it will last her a long time. I bought this for my lab-ish dog who is getting up there in years and isn't as comfortable on the floor. She LOVES it! It is big enough that she can sleep in a ball or stretch all the way out. The memory foam in the bottom takes 24 hours to expand before it goes in the bed. it is so thick and high quality. My dog likes to lay her head on things when she sleeps, so the bolster around the edges is really handy. My smaller dogs like to share it. I am really pleased with the bed, so are the dogs!Kaitlyn
Very thick padding on bottom of bed. It is actually several inches thick. Even with me sitting in it, I can't feel the floor. I think this would be great for older dogs due to the thick padding on base. The padding comes separate from the bed and when you unroll it, it increases in size. To assemble it, you just zip it in the bottom. The bottom base is rectangular and covers the whole entire bed at the bottom so no part of your dog is ever touching the hard ground. The bed is surrounded by thick bolsters and pretty flexible that the sides will move out if you dog wants to curl up or if they touch against the sides. My dog likes to use the side cushions as a head rest. I got the medium size for my dog who is a ~33lbs Shiba Inu. He's pretty big for his breed but it fits him perfectly when he decides to roll up in it and also he likes sleeping in it with his head up. Overall, its a great dog bed for a dog that likes to be snugged up and I think would be very supportive if your dog had hip/joint issues. My dog loves this orthopedic bed! We've tried a lot of different beds, but he loves the extra big cushions on this one. My dog is small (about 8 pounds), but I opted for this Medium size for him to be able to stretch out when laying on his side. It feels really high-quality, but still lightweight enough to move around the house. My dog likes to lounge in it during the day, but also snuggles up in it at night! Zia is a 1 year old blue heeler and we've been searching for a bed that she wouldn't be able to tear through. At the price of these Casper beds, we figured this would be rugged and made well enough to stand against the teeth of a puppy. At first she loved the bed, and we trained her to go to her "spot" on the bed within a couple of days. Then one day I turned my back on her for 10 minutes and she had chewed a hole through the corner of the cover. The cushion was showing underneath, and I noticed this before she could eat the stuffing. With Casper's customer service being of such a high standard, I figured they would at least send us a replacement cover, but no such luck as this was a wedding gift to us (and they wouldn't make an exception in any case). Unfortunately if you have a pup that is teething, you'll have to hold off on a bed like this (unless you have your eyes on them).Zia
I purchased this dog bed about 5 years ago for my dog after a surgery and it was great but it eventually started falling apart so I recently purchased a new one. Upon arrival, I immediately realized that the quality was not as high as the previous version – the foam seemed cheaper and not as sturdy but seemed ok so we kept it. The main issue is the fabric that is used – it's also different and almost feels like vinyl or something and when our dog is sleeping and dreaming, he starts kicking his legs and the noise his legs make when rubbing against the fabric is SO LOUD. It is loud enough that it was constantly waking us up throughout the night so we eventually moved his bed out of the bedroom. I talked to support and they said I was outside of the 30 day return period and could do nothing. I recommend not spending hundreds of dollars on a cheap product with poor customer support.Nolan
We purchased the large bed for our dog about 1.5 – 2 years ago. Having laid on it myself (it's HUGE), I can say that the foam padding inside is comfortable but our dog never really took to it so it became his secondary bed in the house. He will nest occasionally but is not an aggressive digger by any means. So since this bed saw much less (and moderately gentle) use, it was a little surprising that we started noticing a small hole forming at one of the seams about a year after we bought it. Today there are so many large holes, again all at the seams, that can't put off replacing the cover any longer. This is particularly disappointing since the second bed we bought from a different manufacturer (which sees considerably more use) at about the same time is holding up much better. What is even more disappointing is that the limited warranty offered for the mattresses doesn't seem to extend to the dog beds despite the high price tag. They choose not to publish the cost of replacing the covers on the website so I had to get them from the customer service team. It could be possible that we got a defective product but, to our eyes, it looked perfectly normal when we received it and didn't start to show issues until the return period had ended. So, for any potential buyers, just be aware that you may be shelling out an additional $125.00 (large bed), $75.00 (medium bed), or $60.00 (small bed) when your cover falls apart in 12-18 months. For us, we will be replacing our Casper with a dog bed where the quality matches the price tag.Coltrane

Every time my 4 year old Bullmastiff started feeling warm and fuzzy would start chewing on the corner of his bed. I tried several beds, from which pieces of stuffing still remain forever floating around the living room. I scoured the internet for his "Very Last Last Chance Bed". His derriere was going to be sleeping on the floor for all of eternity if he chewed this one up. It's been several days now since I received his new bed……..several days longer than any other bed has ever survived. Here I am in 2020 reviewing somethinv I bought in 2018. Why? Well because my dog literally still sleeps on this every day. He's about an 80 black mouth cur and he hasn't trained it yet. The only thing is that I washed the cover a lot and it's finally wearing a bit thin. It's held up exceptionally well though and I can't say how impressed I am. The memory foam is still holding up. It's not permanently indented which is q major shock with such a big dog. So, yeah buy it!!

Great thickness for larger dogs. I have two sheepadoodles, one 45lbs. and the other 65lbs. They can both sleep comfortably together with room to spare or for one of my teenage boys to join them. I also put it in my back carriage area in my Ford Flex to give them a comfortable ride. The setup is simple, I unwrapped it and laid it out to allow it to straighten out and then put the cover on.
