My puppy really likes laying on it. His favorite part is the fabric pea (like The Princess and the Pea) that came with it. It is his favorite ball. It is nice and soft, squeaks. and the right size for his mouth. It is great for playing fetch inside because it will not hurt anything. It is well made. So far he has not been able to scratch or chew through it. I would buy it again.m

My dog loves her new this is a size Medium but there wasn’t that option to select on Influenster. The bed comes just like those beds in a box that expand once you take them out. It says it can take up to 3 days before it’s fully expanded but it seemed to expand completely within an hour or two. The cover is removable to wash. For reference my dog is 23 pounds and a Mini Schnauzer. The bed is perfect for her size. It also came with a little green ball which is suppose to be a “pea” like Princess and the pea and she loves the ball. #furryfriendsalexis.s

This is a well made dog bed. Easy to put together, very comfortable for my dog, stays cleaner than other dog beds, easy to remove and wash. I have a labrador retriever and initially got the large size, but exchanged it for the jumbo. The large size was a good size, but upon watching him sleep, i found out he likes to stretch out. Yes the jumbo size is very large and requires a lot of space in your room, but it is worth it to see him stretch out or curled up in his very comfy bed. A little pricey but he is worth it. I tried other beds and they are of inferior quality and won't last long. I highly recommend it. For your reference my dog is about 73 Lbs and measured 40 inches when laying down and lightly curled. Two dogs could fit in the jumbo bed if they decide to curl and lay next to each other. But not for stretching in a hot summer evening.Love Labradors 2

My 13 year old Lab was going for spirited 2 mile walks 4 months ago but alas, age it seems has finally caught up with my dearest and closest friend. His hips and knees have been noticeably troubling him, especially in the morning after a long sleep. He’s always had doggy beds but now more than ever I want him to be as comfortable as possible. This bed is FANTASTIC and my good boy loves it! He is 74 lbs but tall and lanky. The large measurements were too small for him, if you look in the picture the golden retriever in the large has zero room to stretch out. I am so glad I went with the XL. My sweet boy can lounge and stretch and get as comfy as his heart desires. I ordered the brown color but have a small blanket draped over it in the image. My labrador loves these. The outside covers are washable. I have hung the covers to dry and they dry fast since microfiber does. I have also hosed down the foam. That takes longer to dry in the shade since most foams don't like direct sunlight. But it works. Eventually she digs a hole in the cover so I flip the foam inside and used the bottom on the top. They fit perfectly under the table or in her extra large crate. I haven't closed the door in 3 years, but she still likes her space.busterlily

I got this for our 9yo GSD who has until now always just considered a folded blanket his "bed". He wouldn't lay on anything the slightest bit pillowy or fluffy. I did have to coax him onto it the first time, but right away after that he started going and laying down there on his own, even when we were in another room (he usually just wants to hang with us). The cover is really nice & soft, and the hair vacuumed off nicely, though we haven't tried washing it yet. I'll probably grab another of these to keep in reserve if they come up again.Coaliesquirrel

Bed is great; love that its washable. Fabric is rough… like a backpack, but if thats what makes it durable, well take it. Plan for your doggo to want a blanket to accompany it. Stuffing is hard to zip in, feels like it needs additional securing inside; slightly worried that its a lot of strain on the zipper, even if zipper seems sturdy at first.Michael

My 16 year old dog loves this bed! I could tell the difference after the first night he slept on this bed. The next morning he woke up and wasn’t stiff like he was normally with his other dog bed. You can tell this new bed is helping his joints. So thankful I purchased this bed for him! He is so comfortable now! The only down side to this new bed is that it has a terrible chemical smell that lasted for about a week (I let the bed air out for a week before letting my dog lay on it) Besides this though! Have had this bed for only a couple of weeks, so cannot speak as to its durability. Comparable to the bed from BigBarker in size and foam density but at less than half the price. I had been shopping for an orthopedic bed for our 105# boxer/St. Bernard mix for quite a while. When I found this one, although I'm leery when buying online, I decided to order it. I was very happy when it arrived. It is exactly as described. Very good quality with a waterproof barrier inside the outside cover. After letting it expand to normal size, our dog got right on it. While he still likes our couch, I believe as he gets older, he will really appreciate the memory foam for his joints.Mrs JEA

I have ordered MANY dog beds in my lifetime but this one is the WORST one of all!! Why? The top "zip in" filler for the "armrest" is impossible to completely insert. I have YET to completely zip it in without nearly losing my breath because of the tugging, pulling, stretching, while TRYING to move the zipper! I thought I was in pretty good shape but putting in this armrest filler role is horrible. I would suggest the manufacturer use LESS filler or something but I would NEVER recommend this dog bed. Researched many dog beds before deciding on this one. We were using a round dog bed without bolsters and when at a friends she wouldn't get out of their bed with bolsters so knew we needed this style. The Memory foam is firm without being rock hard; soft fabric. I have a 65 lb golden retriever and the large (36×28) is perfect. Inside width about 28". We have owed this about a month .. she loved it immediately. Price has increased since we bought it but would still buy it again.murph

I bought this for my lab-ish dog who is getting up there in years and isn't as comfortable on the floor. She LOVES it! It is big enough that she can sleep in a ball or stretch all the way out. The memory foam in the bottom takes 24 hours to expand before it goes in the bed. it is so thick and high quality. My dog likes to lay her head on things when she sleeps, so the bolster around the edges is really handy. My smaller dogs like to share it. I am really pleased with the bed, so are the dogs!Kaitlyn

Very thick padding on bottom of bed. It is actually several inches thick. Even with me sitting in it, I can't feel the floor. I think this would be great for older dogs due to the thick padding on base. The padding comes separate from the bed and when you unroll it, it increases in size. To assemble it, you just zip it in the bottom. The bottom base is rectangular and covers the whole entire bed at the bottom so no part of your dog is ever touching the hard ground. The bed is surrounded by thick bolsters and pretty flexible that the sides will move out if you dog wants to curl up or if they touch against the sides. My dog likes to use the side cushions as a head rest. I got the medium size for my dog who is a ~33lbs Shiba Inu. He's pretty big for his breed but it fits him perfectly when he decides to roll up in it and also he likes sleeping in it with his head up. Overall, its a great dog bed for a dog that likes to be snugged up and I think would be very supportive if your dog had hip/joint issues. I can see my dog using this a lot in the winter months and as he gets older.Autumn

My dog loves this orthopedic bed! We've tried a lot of different beds, but he loves the extra big cushions on this one. My dog is small (about 8 pounds), but I opted for this Medium size for him to be able to stretch out when laying on his side. It feels really high-quality, but still lightweight enough to move around the house. My dog likes to lounge in it during the day, but also snuggles up in it at night! I would highly recommend this for any small to medium sized dog who either likes to curl up against cushions for a safe feeling, or ones that like to rest their head on top of pillows.Victoria

I bought two of these for my Rough Collie. He was about 70-75 pounds and very old. I needed something to keep him off the hard floor. He road 1500 miles in the back of my car on his bed and was super comfy the whole way! We had them in the bedroom and in the living room for him. He loved them a lot. We had them for close to 2 years before another dog decided to keep urinating on them. I was able to wash the covers easily but the foam was getting really stained and gross smelling.Raquel C.

So far this bed seems great. My favorite part is that it didn't have any foam odor when it arrived! The first time my dog got on the bed his backside slide off the bed as the bed moved forward. I probably would have been better off with a bolster style and different fabric for him especially now that he is an advanced senior. I have two dogs, a mini-Aussie in this size range and a border collie slightly larger than this range. Both use the bed happily (never together). The fabric isn’t showing any signs of wear. The egg crate is somewhat compressed, but still offers plenty of padding (I can’t touch the floor through it). We own two of these exact beds (one is 4 month of use and the other less than a month). This is holding up nicely compared to many more expensive beds on the market. I have been very happy with our purchases. I was a first time buyer and ordered the PupRug Animal Print Memory Foam Dog Bed in the tiger print. My first order was delivered but due to the incompetence of UPS and lack of giving a **** about their customers’ packages, my first delivery was stolen. I notified Paw.com and without any hesitation or long drawn out claim, they immediately sent out a whole new bed that I previously ordered but didn’t receive. That alone just wowed me and made me feel actually valued as a customer. The product came rolled up in a long box. The foam pad mattress for the bed was easy to unroll and got to its full size within a couple hours of unboxing. It’s genius that not only is the animal print cover easy to remove, but it has an underside with a bunch of rubber dots to help the bed from slipping. Now the actual top of the bed with animal print is actually made to look like real fur which I wasn’t even expecting. The faux fur they put on it doesn’t even seem to shed an or lose fiber, and I’ve even been on the bed myself wearing black and still no shedding. The size of the tiger print mattress cover actually is close to the size of an actual tiger so it almost looks believeable. I haven’t had to wash it as of yet but taking the cover off and putting it back on is super simple. I’m just going to make sure I read any washing and drying instructions beforehand. Another cool thing about this particular dog bed is that you are able to purchase other types of covers so you can change out the look or just have an extra cover while you are washing your other one. BTW I don’t even have a dog, I ordered this bed for a mattress topper for my pullout couch and use it as that and a rug for the floor for when it’s a couch, and I sleep comfortably on the dog bed either on the pull out or floor. So even human tested it gets two thumbs up from me. It really gives my studio some extra charm and character to it and is totally amazing if your a fan of tigers or tiger stripes!Corey E.

There's two main things I look for in things for my dog: 1) durability and 2) washability. Since my dog is still a puppy, I know he'll probably chew on this or scratch it up a bit (let's face it–dogs chew on things), but I think it will be just as durable or more than other pet beds. Since there's actually two covers–the removable, washable cover and than an inner pillow-like cover, I can spray the inner cover with bitter apple spray and that will help deter chewing. As for my second must-have, this has an easily removable outer cover that is machine washable and dryer safe. Nice! As for comfort, this bed can't be beat. The large size is big enough for my toddler to take a nap on, and would make a good camping mattress if you don't have pets. So overall, I'd say this is a versatile, durable, cleanable mattress that I'd highly recommend.Lisa

The shredded memory foam pet bed was tightly packaged for distribution and so it was quite compressed when I first removed it from the plastic bag. It quickly expanded to the size described. The dimensions of the pet bed are 46 inches by 28 inches as indicated and the top measures about 5 inches from the floor when not compacted. Our dog is a very large breed, so I wasn’t certain that this bed would accommodate her. She extends over the edges when she stretches out, but it is adequate for her usual sleep positions and she appears to be comfortable. It is flat, without any ridges, as pictured. The shredded memory foam fill is encased in material that is sewn into four compartments so the memory foam does not bunch up. The outer cover seems sturdy and has a zipper so it can easily be removed for laundering. The top of the cover is soft and suede-like while the fabric on the bottom feels like the outer layer of a sleeping bag. I do not detect any of the odors of the memory foam when the outer cover is on. The colors are neutral and should work well with most color schemes. The shredded memory foam makes the pet bed very flexible. It is simple to fold it up for storage when not in use or to take along for travel. I let my teen-age children try it out when I first brought it home. They campaigned strongly to designate it as the family TV pillow rather than the pet bed. They thought it was comfortable and loved the pliability. We may have to get another one for the humans in the house!JenW

We have two 74 lb greyhounds and we purchased this bed to try out in one of their crates and plan to buy a second if it works out. So far, both dogs seem to like it and it appears to be comfortable; however, because the filling is shredded memory foam and tends to shift around, they are digging around quite a bit before they settle and I’m concerned they may eventually damage the cover. This bed has lasted through 2 Great Danes. It is still in perfect shape. I love the support it gives to their joints. My last Dane was 140 lbs. it was the only bed that supported his weight. I don’t anticipate needing another bed for quite some time, but if I do…I would purchase again.Christina J

My dog seems to like the bed, I do love how thick the dog bed is. The only minor thing was the large size was a little smaller than our existing large dog bed. My dog Shamira is not able to stretch out her full body, but I would recommend if your dog is at least 60 lbs. and up, buy the XL bed especially since the bed is sitting higher. I was hesitant to order a bed online because you can't really tell the quality of it and I didn't want to pay a fortune for junk. Then a sale came along as well as an additional coupon and it was a deal that I couldn't really pass up. Fortunately, the risk paid off. This bed is fantastic. It really is as described. I could sleep on it, and it's huge. I noticed some people complaining about the noise when your dog moves, but honestly, I don't even notice it most of the time. I got the XLarge 54" x 36" for my Great Pyrenees and she loves it. I was worried it wouldn't be big enough for her, but it seems to work out just fine – even if she stretches out. She's 13, so she's a old girl with arthritis.Her old bed did not survive our move, so we got this one (which frankly, did not even come close to the quality of this one). We've had it a week and already she seems to be getting around better. She really hasn't left it since. She's on the lighter side for a pyr at only 80 lbs, but the bed does not collapse with her weight. I weigh twice that and it supports me if I lie on it as well. 🙂 If I had anything to complain about, it would be the shipping/packing. The box was almost collapsed/destroyed and virtually open when it arrived. Other than that, I'm very happy with the purchase.smileyriley

I bought this earlier this year for my 60lb lab mix. She loves it. Drags her blanket in with her and everything. We rescued a 2nd dog, who has been trying to steal the bed from our first dog because its so very comfortable. We purchased a 2nd and they are side by side and the dogs couldnt be happier. Normally when I order a dog bed I buy a large for my 70lb lab. The large here has the exact measurements of her other beds and says for dogs up to 90lbs so I got the large especially since it's a bit pricey. Most of the beds now we have also fits the puppy on the bed with her too on a large bed. But this bed was really small for the price, I was expecting it to be a little bigger. She barely fits on the bed and she's on the smaller range of 60-90lbs and the puppy can't fit on the bed with her. It is more fitted for my 45lb puppy. If I would've known I would've bought the bigger bed but idk if I could justify the price. The filling is a little flatter like everyone says so for the price you'd expect more than that. But the material is great. I bought heathered khaki which in the picture looks like a soft material but the bed I got looks more like the tweed material. My dogs are my life! I've drooled over Orvis dog beds for years. I finally bit the bullet/splurged and purchased three for my growing pack of 5! I have four dogs of my own, with a senior hospice foster pup. With three seniors total in my house, I started thinking about replacing their old memory foam beds with the amazing Orvis beds! From working in the pet industry, I know that these beds will last forever! And if something does wear out (it would be after several years!), you can purchase replacement foam, bolsters or cover from contacting Orvis Customer Service. They are super helpful!! First, there's my red border collie, Stellar. My heart dog. She's turning 12 soon and I have definitely noticed her slowing down in the last two years. Don't get me wrong, she's still a little spit fire! But only the best for my active girl who can get pretty sore from our adventures. Stellar loves being able to sprawl with her head over the bolster. I LOVE that there is an entire side open, especially for the seniors. If she starts to become less mobile, I'll turn the bed around for easier access, so she doesn't trip over the side. My scruffy pup, Stormy, is an upside down sprawler. I think she mostly does it for attention because she knows that she's so stinkin cute, it hurts! She's one of my youngsters. My other youngster, Jupiter, the spotted pup, needs to be curled up and touching something at all times unless she's awake chewing on a bone or toy. My other two, a senior tripod and my senior hospice foster love these beds too. They all take turns except for Stella. No one sleeps in Stella's corner. 😉 I just figured I'd cover the main sleeping positions of my pack! As far as size goes, I went against my gut feeling and ordered mediums originally,(they were on sale- I couldn't resist!) but they were pretty slim width-wise. I'd say only my spotted dog could curl up in a tight little ball would just barely fit on a medium. She's a slim 55 lbs. So I've exchanged them for Larges and I'm so glad I did! I ordered the Heathered Khaki after reading some of the reviews stating that it turned out to be a little darker than pictured on the website. Good! I wanted darker! I LOVE the color. I was worried about the beds being too light with my active (and large) pack, being able to show dirt easily. But I also didn't want dog hair to stand out on a dark color such as black. I think my pictures represent the color a little better than the, although super cute, Orvis photo of Heathered Khaki. For reference, four of my dogs are Border Collies/mixes, and one is a dalmatian mix They range from 36-55 lbs. In my opinion, a shorter medium sized breed, such as a corgi, basset hound etc would fit a medium well! Hope this information has helped! Sal first had a bead-filled Orvis nest bed when he came home from rescue at age 2 and he LOVED it. He broke his ankle in 2006 and had difficulty getting up from it post-surgery, so I ordered a Bolster bed for him, which he loved, as well. The cover finally started to show wear in 2022 and I recently upgraded it to the memory foam version. He just turned 11 and has some arthritis in the ankle he broke. Of course, he loves his third Orvis bed! I'll upload some pics… he happens to be "blowing his coat" right now so the pics will show a lot of hair on the bed (as well as on our rug!). Another great feature of the fabric, as well as its durability, is how well the covers wash up based on my experience with his other Orvis beds. Every time my 4 year old Bullmastiff started feeling warm and fuzzy would start chewing on the corner of his bed.
