Ours is a Christmas version, but the same toy. This is my dogs all time favourite toy. How do I know? Well, I didn't buy it for him…he stole his from the dog upstairs 😂 My dog is obsessed with this monkey. He gets all upset if you step on his monkey but not if you throw him (go figure). These and hard rubber toys (ie Kong) are the only things that survive my small but VERY chewy dog. This toy is adorable. I gave it to my dog and he has played with it almost constantly for a week, but it doesn't show any wear. It's made of a softish rubbber and shaped like an animal balloon and is light and puffy. Unlike a round ball, it has little parts sticking out so that dogs with small mouths can grab onto it in multiple ways. It squeaks but is not so easy to squeak that its squeaking constantly. It also works like a balloon in terms of the dog being able to bounce it back at you and play catch. But unlike a balloon, it doesn't break if bitten. I want to purchase another one! My son is a huge fan of this toy. Its a really cute take on your classic balloon animal dog. Batteries are pretty simple to install, though you do need a screwdriver. It comes with a couple fun accessories to make the dog do things like inflate, deflate (just sounds and the ways it moves, does not actually change shape) and other noises. These toys are my dogs absolutely favorite!! We are on our way to collecting every animal they have (we have 5 right now) and the balloon dog still stands to be his OG favorite. It’s the first one we got and it has held up great (we did have to purchase a second balloon dog though because there was a fatality to the first) he loves them so much that he will cuddle up with them and fall asleep. They do tend to get a bit annoying with all the squeaks, but it’s well worth it for a happy and occupied pupmorgan.n

This toy is adorable. I gave it to my dog and he has played with it almost constantly for a week, but it doesn't show any wear. It's made of a softish rubbber and shaped like an animal balloon and is light and puffy. Unlike a round ball, it has little parts sticking out so that dogs with small mouths can grab onto it in multiple ways. It squeaks but is not so easy to squeak that its squeaking constantly. It also works like a balloon in terms of the dog being able to bounce it back at you and play catch. But unlike a balloon, it doesn't break if bitten. I want to purchase another one! The only drawback I see is that when purchasing online, customers don't seem to be able to choose which creature they will get – they're just sent whichever one they're sent.Habek
The Hartz Dura Play Zoo Balloons toy was an alright toy for our dog while it lasted. We thought she would like to play fetch with it but she was more interested in chewing on it. Since this toy squeaks we were not thrilled about it that much anyway but were glad she liked it. We wondered how long it would last since it is soft. So we watched her play with the toy. This toy lasted only about an hour. Once she bit the head off to expose the foam inside we had to throw it away. Overall I wouldn't try this toy again because it squeaks and only lasted for one hour.njreese
