terrible! did not last 16 hrs literally . my puppy was able to chew thru it in no time at all . maybe it's my fault I should have just went with metal and not something nicer looking . This kennel looks great in your home. It’s much more decorative than a traditional crate. And for the price of why not? Well that’s easy. It’s not as functional as a traditional kennel. I read reviews before buying this, and a lot of those reviews stated that their dogs tore this kennel apart. But I thought my dog shouldn’t have a problem with that because she is crate trained. As a matter of fact she went into her old kennel willingly without anyone asking all of the time. It was her safe space I think. Never tried to break out. But the thing with this kennel is the material that it is made out of is weak and if you’re a pitbull, very soft. My dog chewed the bars out with ease and the fake wood was like bubblegum to her. It needs two things. magnets to hold the double doors open when they are not closed, and something at the top of the double doors to hold them tightly closed. Otherwise I love it! Got the kennel together put our 50 pound pup in it. Left to run some errands. Came back he was still locked up but had destroyed the door, bent the wires. I bought 2 of these to use as bedside tables. My dogs and cats like to lay in a crate. This would would not work if you had to crate your pet to prevent destructive behavior, it would be very easy to chew through. I also like that it is plastic as I have older animals who have accidents sometimes so it will be easy to clean! Looks very nice as well! Easy to assemble but the instructions could use some work for people who dont often assemble furniture. Also the holes for the lock were not drilled correctly on mine, they were about 1” too close together so I had to drill 2 of my own.Rachael

I am THRILLED with my end table/ crate! First, it came within 3 or 4 days of ordering! We ordered it for our boy Rambo because he likes to be to himself once in awhile, especially if he doesn't feel well or is scared. (He's a 15 lb. Pomeranian mix.) Well, we were delighted to find that this was so big and that it was made VERY sturdy with quality wood. It took us about half hour to put together and our boy has taken a liking to it. We didn't put the door on-just left it open. Our boy is a rescue and panics if enclosed in a cage. So with the sides and the back having the spindles and the door not on it, he really enjoys going in it. (He now takes his bones in there to chew on.) So we are very pleased with it overall. Very grateful to Hayneedle for having such quality products with such great prices and deals. You are the Best!! I would recommend to anyone who wants a "little place" for their furry baby. These solid wood pet crates are gorgeous and well built! High quality! Deep espresso with a sheen! My 20 year old daughter assembled both in an hour! Great price! My one Yorkie won't come out of this crate -he loves it! Ordered the small and my medium sized Yorkies have plenty of room even with cushions and blankets! Just be ready to make tiny predrilled holes bigger with drill bit little bigger than size of screws or you'll need the Hulk to get screws in! Just be careful not to drill through to other side! That's my only small complaint! Definitely recommend- you will not be disappointed! Gives room put together look! See pics. Came packed well with no damage and arrived quickly! I purchased this Newport Pet Crate End Table 2/19/2018. It arrived allot sooner than expected. Easy to put together and it looked just like the web pages pictures. However, the locking latch could've been more sturdy. The wooden bars across the windows were also not as solid as I would've preferred. The first time using it was the evening I received it. When I returned home after 4 hrs.he was at the door when I opened it. I bought this product as a means to contain my pet while I'm away. I use to let him run the house until I returned but in the last 4 weeks there have been too many events taken place while I'm gone. Our 25 pound dog likes to jump on top of his crate. So this new crate is not up to that. He’s already broken it. Maybe this is not what the crate is designed for but still think it should last longer than a week. I gave two stars instead of one because the crate is not advertised as being able to withstand a dog jumping on top of it. But still come onKeeeef
We purchased two of these kennels. Not because we have so many dogs as there are only two teacup poodles in our home, we’re planing on breeding them in another year or so thus we’ll be in need of separate quarters. These have a divider that can be used or not. For now we don’t need the division, but we may in a year… The kennels were easy to set up and all doors operated as designed. All in all we’re happy with our purchase and would recommend this model kennel.H Forrest
I use this in my office building for my French Bulldog, its a perfect size and the set I bought came with the little cushion that goes at the bottom. The 2 doors are nice so you can arrange it an way you want in your house it is very sturdy yet collapsible in case you need to travel a bit. The tray at the bottom slides out easily for messes ect. This kennel looks great in your home. It’s much more decorative than a traditional crate. And for the price of why not? Well that’s easy. It’s not as functional as a traditional kennel. I read reviews before buying this, and a lot of those reviews stated that their dogs tore this kennel apart. But I thought my dog shouldn’t have a problem with that because she is crate trained. As a matter of fact she went into her old kennel willingly without anyone asking all of the time. It was her safe space I think. Never tried to break out. But the thing with this kennel is the material that it is made out of is weak and if you’re a pitbull, very soft. My dog chewed the bars out with ease and the fake wood was like bubblegum to her. I love this kennel because of the way it looks in my room but for how strong it is NOT, it is incredibly over priced.BrianaL02
It is a thin type of material. The sides and such are put together with plastic screws, not metal. A big minus for me was the bottom for the crate. I am using to created train a puppy, I was hoping it had a pan like the metal crates with sides to catch urine. Instead it is just a flat piece that fits inside, leaving gaps around the edges. This crate is great for a dog that enjoys being kenneled. The walls are held together with eight plastic screws and the whole thing can be lifted easily by one adult… couldn't be more than 50lbs. The look and feel really isn't that bad… though its obviously the crate is not made of wood. Visually better than the hard-sided crate we had before.
